Making some lets play videos for my friends YouTube channel and figured I'd hit missions using a rifter until level 3 where I had to warp out a lot. I plan on doing a fail low sec roam next week with a few friends as well as showing some other carebear activities.

Just looking for areas for improvement since this is my first attempt at making any type of commentary to well anything. I tried to cover the basics though so I may have missed some things that I'm just used to taking into consideration. I've got up to level 2 missions rendered(which I will be uploading tonight) . Still working on the level 3 video and audio portion.

One of the first things I noticed is that the intro was very loud.. and then when you started talking it was very soft in comparison. Throughout the video the volume of the audio goes up and down. It's really best to try to keep the volume consistent. There is also one place in the video around 9 minutes where the music overpowers you a bit.

Other than that the only other suggestion I have its to possibly change the size of your chat window when you are filming. That way there is less to cover up and obstruct the video.

You do sound unsure of yourself sometimes, but that comes with the territory usually. I do some teaching/tutoring myself and at first I always sounded unsure because I was nervous but eventually you get over it.

Hmmm I never thought the intro was that loud. I'll definently try and make it match the loudness of my voice. Regarding the music coming in and out, I worked on that bit in the level 2 videos audio where it was a lot more smooth compared to the level 1. I purposefully choose to have it go to a more audible level when there are extended periods I'm not talking. I also lowered those portions down because of how much louder it was compared to my voice(it also made the fade in/out a lot easier)

That 9 minute thing is just derp, I made the fade in the wrong place and didn't notice it.

That has already been changed in the level 3 where my chat window is shorter, but wider. For the most part it won't be in the next video I put up. It's current height

If I was sure of myself I wouldn't be coming forward asking for tips now would I? But I'll work on that a bit and see how I do.

The level 2 video is up and the audio for the background music was lowered a fair bit in comparison. Intro is the same though, I will change that in the level 3 though so it doesn't have a large volume change when I start talking.
