T2 BPC runs from invention

Is there a minimum number to how many runs a T2 invented BPC will have? I was under the impression that although using max run T1 copies for the invention would increase the number of runs, that the minimum would still be at a certain amount.

For instance, for some T2 module BPCs default is 10 runs. Using max run T1BPCs to invent the T2 BPC could increase it from 10 to 14 runs.

But I just got a successful invention and the copy had only 1 run on it. I used a single run copy to invent it, but I didn't know this could happen? Some other modules I was inventing using only single run copies came out with 10 runs on the T2 BPC.
Is this normal? Could someone explain if not having max run copies is actually detrimental to the number of runs on the T2 BPC?

You have a fundemental misunderstanding.

The minimum number of runs is 1.

Use a single run BPC, and you'll get a single run T2 BPC.

With modules, but not using a decryptor, the most you'll get is 10 runs.
Invention Output Runs = MIN(MAX(ROUND_DOWN( (Input_T1_BPC_Runs / T1_Max_Runs_Per_Blueprint_Copy) * (T2_Max_Runs_Per_Blueprint_Copy / 10) + Decryptor_Runs_Bonus), 1), T2_Max_Runs_Per_Blueprint_Copy)

Which module did you get 10 runs, with a single run copy?

Go and read http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Invention as it covers these details

Um, it was ice harvester upgrade. But doing the math above I'm beginning to doubt that I had used a single run copy for that one...
Thanks for your help, I understand it now o7
