I thought you all could use a laugh at my expense.

I recently came back to Eve after a LONG time away. Of course everybody that I flew with is long gone and my wallet is pretty much empty, so I decided to go back to high-sec to build up my wallet running missions and to get my space legs back. I had no plans of coming back to the system I had called home for quite a while, so I loaded up my Mammoth with all of the most valuable stuff I had and made the long haul back to the place of my original spawning. I fully expected to get blown to bits and lose everything, but I actually made it. All that was left back in low-sec was a retriever and a small pile of junk.

Well it was hardly worth the trip, I don't even mine that much anyway, but I figured what the hell I may as well go get it. It seemed safe enough the first trip.

So I jumped in a shuttle and jumped all the way back out to get my barge. I made it back out there again with no trouble, loaded up the last of my junk and undocked. Boom! There's a Tornado sitting outside the station waiting to gank me. lol

OK, no big deal I was surprised that I'd been flying around for so long without getting popped.

So now I'm in my Pod, what's the worst that can happen, I get popped again and save myself 30 minutes of traveling and wake up in a new Pod back in high-sec.

So I started on my way back. After ten jumps, again with no sign of trouble, and I find myself on the edge of Null-sec.

I have to be able to find somebody out there to blow me up I think, so away I go. I alter my course and start jumping through 0.0.

Ten jumps later I'm thinking where are all the **** pirates for **** sake. I'm in the last system before landing back in high sec when somebody says in local that there's a camp with bubbles at the next gate.

Finally I think to myself, and warp to the gate but don't even try to jump.

Sure enough Pop goes my Pod and I wake up in a fresh new Pod.....

Back at the Low-sec station I started! LOL

I forgot to reset where my clone was stationed LOL Hell I don't even remember moving it out there to begin with.

Anyway I hope you all get as much of a laugh out of this little tale as I did.

Maybe after work (now that I've relocated my clone) I'll just pay somebody to shoot me! LOL
