The FunkyBacon Show on Eve Radio is seeking 1 or 2 quality individuals to add to our production team during our popular Friday Night/Saturday Morning weekly show. Interested parties must be at least 18, available Fridays/Saturdays from 23:30-03:00 UTC (Eve Time), have Skype, active Eve Accounts, and a working knowledge of how to play the game. Specifics for each position are listed below:

========================
Co-Host: Strong, talkative personality, with a clear speaking voice needed with good knowledge of Eve Online's various play styles, especially with regards to PVP. Many of our events and contests involve people getting shot at, and it helps if you can comment intelligently on this. From time to time, earth shattering news reverberates across Eve and the general gaming media (Monoclegate, Mitanni speaking drunk, BoB imploding) and we may be called upon to put together a show on short notice to cover such events. Having a general knowledge of what is going on with Eve as a whole will help keep you in our on air conversations.

A strong sense of humor is a plus, good communication skills a must, and being female wouldn't hurt your chances any as it would be nice to have a counterbalance to big hairy men thumping their chests at bloody space battles. Small shaved men will also be considered.

========================
VJ: Someone with an awesome gaming rig and Xsplit video streaming (or similar) software is needed to livestream our events on ERTV. Video streams are uploaded at a bitrate of 1500, a resolution of 1280x720 (16:9) and 25 fps. You need not talk on air if you don't want to (though we'd love it if you had something to say) and if you do your own Eve Videos, you can expect lots of pimping of your work.

========================
While we would love to have one person to fill both roles, we're more than happy to take on 2 specialists as well. Please contact DJ FunkyBacon in game, or you may e-mail me at funkybacon at gamingradio.net if interested.

These positions are volunteer, none of us get paid, it's our love of the game, and the great experiences that keep us glued to our seats.

About The FunkyBacon Show: We started broadcasting on Eve Radio in August of 2006 during an obscure Monday morning time slot and worked our way into Eve Radio Prime Time over several months by putting on quality insightful shows and events in Eve. By early 2007 our weekly and monthly events were in full swing, and we were joined by our present crew of LarkinAlpha (Southern USA), Doc Nielsen (Denmark) and Elijah Ghost (N. Ireland). We were there to report on the fall of BoB, have covered several Alliance Tournaments, frequently enjoy the company of CCP Devs on the show, covered Veto Summer Camp in Nashville last year, and have done special broadcasts of nearly every major happening in Eve over the last 6 years with listeners reaching into the thousands.

We have room on this tour bus for 1 or 2 more. Is that you?

It would appear that we have filled the VJ position.

We still have an open Co-Host position, and I'm in the process of talking to some folks about it, but it is not too late to get in touch with us about this.

Eve-mail or E-mail is fine. You can also get me on skype, where my name is funkybacon.
