All the editing was done in Final Cut Pro, all the effects are just variations of some of the default animations. But I want to create some more unique style that blends in better with EVE next time :)

It's a nice first video, good job mate.

Although i have some problems with it's quality. Perhaps you recorded at a lower quality or exported the movie wrong? i usually record at half with fraps because of file sizes and export at 720p specifically for youtube and get much better render quality than what you got.

Since I recorded at such a high resolution it's not going to look that great at even 1080p, at least for text and window borders. If you're talking about the color artifacts in space I think they're originally from the compression by Bandicam/Fraps that got enhanced by compressing it again for uploading. I'll have to tinker a bit to get rid of it but I didn't consider it worth the effort at the time.
