Survey scan behaviour problem.
Left-Control clicking an asteroid in the survey scan window make the asteroid lock (as usual) but sometimes opens an info window about this asteroid (Sure I didn't click the info blue button at the end right row)

I was imprecise this a Left control-click mouse

I can't seem to build using my barge BPCs. When I get to the screen that shows minerals required/missing, if says that I am missing more than twice as many minerals I need for the build.

you will need to update your spreadsheet, the build costs have changed. (but the reprocess values are still based on the old numbers, so the market cannot recover correctly What? )

I was wondering why the market prices for barges hasn't really moved much to come into line with the new costs of their production, heck they don't even make sense to produce going by the OLD Bill of Materials.

Could someone from CCP say if this is a "bug/oversight" or "by design"?

So not sure if I am the only one experiencing this but I can not get any amount of ore in my hold when I just am mining. Using a retriever, do I need to get some sore of additional module? Using just a Strip Miner 1 on Retriever trying to mine veldspar. Any info would be appreciated!

Sounds like fun... do not believe that anyone else has noted this. Did you reset your cache files?

Nope, have no idea how to do that let alone an option. Is that something done through the launcher or in-game?

1. The tool tip on Survey Scanner does not display the range. Different Meta levels have different ranges so it would be good to see that.

2. Scanning for anoms with ship scanner doesn't seem to find anything, not sure if it's still the issue with them not re-spawning or a new issue.

3. I am often missing arms, torso, or head and re-logging fixes it.

Ok, sound I reset my cache files through the EVE launcher and I still am experiencing that issue of me not getting my ore of any amount in my Retriever. Any clues on why this may be happening?

Before the patch, in order to use a rookie ship as a cyno ship you needed:

1x Cyno module
1x Micro Aux module

Cyno IV skill.

After the patch, caldari + minmatar + gallente needs:

1x cyno module

Cyno IV skill.

Whereas the amarr now needs:

1x cyno module
1x cargohold expander (does not matter which, T1 is fine).

Cyno IV skill.

Do you see the problem?

Could a developer or game designer please answer this?

I cannot be the only one to think this is a very undeserved nerf for the Amarr rookie ship?

When it comes down to it, cyno lighting on rookie frigates is an activity that we don't explicitly design for. We have no problem with people doing it but we will not guarantee that all the design decisions we make will support it.

In this case we built the rookie frigates to highlight the differences in the races' ship design philosophies, by making the rookie frigates a scaled down version of the kind of stat progressions you'll run into at higher tiers. Amarr ships tend to have slightly smaller cargoholds than other races since they don't need the space for ammo.

In the end we gave all the rookie ships (including the Impairor) a significant buff to cyno lighting since they no longer need MAPCs. The buff to that specific use was not intentional but it was something we knew would be happening and we were fine with it. The Impairor got slightly less of a buff for cyno lighting than the others, but once again I consider that fine since lighting cynos isn't a core use for the ship.

In the end my advice is to stock some expanded cargoholds with your cyno gens and celebrate that you no longer need the more expensive MAPCs.

Sorry, but that's not good enough. Somehow I ended up with some cyno chars that are now inferior to some of the others.

I tried to petition for a race change, but was told that was not possible (even though its most likely the easiest fix in the world, changing one integer I presume).

The fact that something that has existed for what? 8 years? was suddenly changed and one specific race got the shaft compared to the others indicate that the design decision was quite poor.

Yes I know its not supported for lightning cynos and all that, but its developer choices like this that makes me wonder whether or not this game will be viable to play in the future (what will get shafted next? or changed around so skillpoints become useless and/or pointless).

Please reconsider the stance on this, its a 5 m3 change in cargohold to make the races equal again!

I hope this will be taken under consideration :-).

(yes, its a 10 day train for a cyno char, still it bothers me and I doubt I'm the only one).

Edit: Thanks for your reply though :-)

So put an expanded cargohold with your cyno alts. This is certainly a problem that requires whining of your magnitude.

CCP does not control market pricing AFAIK. Only time and market pressures will change the prices if CCP continues to maintain its hands-off approach.

There is a quite dangerous bug with fleet/win/squad warps right now.
On occation on selected bookmark types the fleet/wing/squad-warp will not work.

Confirming that this is still happening.

I tried to warp a squad member and he never got the command. Warping directly to the bookmark worked, but any attempt at warping to range resulted in my ship getting the command but not the squad member.

Also, the patch notes call them bookmarks. I thought they were supposed to be locations now.

i can confirm this as well. warp squad to zero on a bookmark will work , but warping squad at range on a bookmark is broken. squad members do not get the command.

Still happening with any distance chosen from the "at range" right-click menu (even @ 0km is not working when chosen from this menu)

Normal squad-warp to predefined default ranges seems to work as it did pre-patch.

Open up the inventory. select your ship. if it's not already open, open the tree view. select orehold.

(which generally comes down to: hit alt+c, select ore hold)

And you may be pleasantly surprised. it'll be 25,000 m3 or so. No, cargo rigs don't touch it.

Still getting bogus contract notifications for UNACCEPTED contracts.

In some cases - ice mining with a mackinaw - it happens that one of the two harvester cycles doesn't fill the cargo with an ice block, recognized with different chars. Does anybody have this too?

Courier Contract Notifications

Since the release of 1.2, every time someone creates a courier contract for me, it starts showing up as "Needing Attention" in my contract interface--whether I've accepted or not, no matter how much time until it expires. At first I wondered if you'd put in some sort of inane "mark my contract as 'very important special snowflake delivery, please'" setting, but fortunately that doesn't seem to be the issue. Roll

Can we please go back to the halcyon days where unaccepted courier contracts didn't cry wolf?

A really stubborn Boiglio, who doesn't appreciate the client telling her that things need attention just by virtue of their existance. Cool

Dear Tutorial Icon On the Sidebar,

I know you're a new face around here and I know it must be hard to keep yourself getting the attention you obviously crave, but could you please see fit not to re-appear every single time I log in? I've removed you every time but there you go re-appearing when I swap character and I'm starting to get just a teensy bit miffed with your blank, impassive and distressingly nude face haunting my every session change.

So please, can you see fit to stay away when I remove you? I'd be ever so grateful and I will finally be able to take the Being Stalked? hotline number out of my speed-dial list.

Much obliged,

Tommy
