Now that guy was from my own militia. The same militia I roamed with one day ago. I must say that if you can't play a game the way it's meant to be played, in this case, as a team, you deserve a ****** up mechanic. Why should CCP put any effort into making it better if people will just use it to grief? The said guy wasn't trying to lecture me into FW tactics. He was just being a jerk.

Being from the same faction means nothing and so should be the collective effort to keep sovereignty.
My 5 cents.


I'll give you a better rundown:

1. You can ask someone to leave, but they don't have to.
2. You want to play as a team but not share plexes? Plexes which are designed to allow multiple people inside. Who isn't playing the game as it's meant to be played? If you want to not share LP for your work, try out the missions. I mean that seriously.

It is regrettable that you got shot, but I can't say that I'm surprised by the actions. Please understand that FW has become a playground for days old alts with no guns and no stake in it other than making isk. Bitter vets and pilots who want to FW for reasons other than farming don't like this. Sounds like wrong place, wrong time, and wrong choice of words.

Do you know how many LP do I have?
300ish from a ******* mission I had to jump 20 systems to do and an Amarr hauler I chased and blew up.
Do you know how many plexes I have completed?

Depending on the plex size, saying nothing would have netted you anywhere from 5 to 15k LP.

I wouldn't focus much on LP just yet. Since you have just joined recently, getting to know the dynamics of your new home is the best thing you can do.

Make peace with whatever locals are around, and things will get better. Also, the LP will come as time goes on. I know all you hear on the forum is that FW is an ISK-making-factory, but honestly, depending on your play style, it might be more of a marathon.

I play pretty much every night, but I don't just do plexes. I defensive plex (yes, some people actually do it) and hunt for enemy fleets. I have a mere 38k LP, but I'm having FUN. That's the important bit.

So, to sum up:
Make nice with the indigenous population
Have FUN

Isn't that what EVE is about? Abusing mechanics to grief? At least that's what i read on GD on a daily basis.

On a more serious note... Seriously, have you actually ever played EVE? Players use mechanics to grief all the time. Spies in 0.0, spies in FW, Scams, emptying corp hangars and saying goodbye, suicide ganking and i think i missed a couple. If CCP shouldn't work on aspects of the game which are used to grief than CCP can just stop working on EVE.

I'm not whining about being griefed. That **** was nothing, I lost about 2mi there. What I am saying is that players who do that sort of thing have no right no whine about complex mechanics simply because they don't deserve a well tought mechanic.
Your game mechanic is all wrapped up in rubber so you don't pierce your own eyes on it. Game companies don't dumb stuff down because players are getting smarter you know?

1) The Warp Scramblers and other junk that you looted from wrecks aren't going to do you any good in your cargohold.
2) Especially since you can't dock in Amarr systems to fit it.
