Change all empire 0.5-0.9 except for RENS/AMARR/DODXIEI/JITA and leave those as 1.0 systems for market hubs

You will need to seed all ships/modules at set prices.

You will need to remove refining as industry is no longer needed.
You are very confused about what PvP consists of in EVE. You've just suggested the removal of PvP content. Why would you do that if you want to show some kind of “pure PvP”?

So CCP, lets try it out, lets do what they want, lets change EVE to pure PVP sov games, no industry, no mining, no missions, no incursions
Same here. You've listed things that are PvP to be removed from this “pure PvP” thing you're envisioning.

Forcing PvP on soft targets is what piracy is about. Surely you wouldn't want to remote piracy from the game?

People pay to play. If you pay for my account I will gladly play the way you ask. Untill then I will pay my $14.99 per month and play the game how I choose not you. Carebares dont force manufacturing on you so why force pvp on those who dont want it?

To each is own. If I dont like it then I stop paying.

Sure you do. As a PVPer who loses ships, I want manufacturers to give them to me for free. You refuse to do so, thus harming my ability to keep PVPing for free. Thus, by charging ISK for your manufactured goods, you are engaging in non-consensual Market PVP.

By the way, I don't have a problem with that. But unless you're playing on SISI, you're engaged in PVP against someone.

Yes they do. Carebears aren't able or willing to produce the full range of stuff that goes into a fit shipping so those PvPers have to do it themselves…

So setting aside for a moment that manufacturing is PvP, since carebears force PvPers to manufacture why should the carebears be exempt from PvP?

One thing always left out in these risk vs reward debates is that there is an aspect that is a reward that can't be balanced against the in game rewards. That aspect is the reward of explosions, or causing another player to lose something of value. Things of that nature.

So how do you balance that in the game (realistically).

OP is a Troll, crappy one, but a Troll non the less (cred does go for tolling to page 4 at this time)

But look at it this way:

If there was a complete Null Sec style server , with all ships and mods seeded and no industry, how many would join?

If there was a complete High Sec style server, with only at the most a PVP flagging system in place, how many would join?

Me? neither, I enjoy EVE as it is, heck even lost a ship tonight when I feel asleep, my bad Pirate

EVE is the more than the sum of it parts, it's something greater =)

I"m not really the Evil One, I'm just his answering service.

…and the question remains: why would they want to play a game without industry? Why would they want a game with less PvP?

Seeing as how a nullsec style server would have plenty of industry, this question doesn't make much sense.

Just a suggestion OP... to everyone posting actually. Always start your post with an explaination of what just happened to you that triggered your rage and rather than suggesting a mechanical change, ask for advice.

You would be suprised how fast the community would rally and give you advice if you just told them what ****** thing happened to you. People on this forum I find are extremly helpful and full of useful information IF and ONLY IF, rather than complain about the mechanics you post what happen and ask for advice.

Just a suggestion. I get the rage, I have been there many times.... swallow it .. and ask for advice.. thats my advice. This community might suprise you and you might just walk away from the experiance learning something useful that can help you in the future to avoid whatever it was that triggered your rage.

The reality of Eve is that, if you don't love it like it is today, you should probobly go ahead and unsub.

There actually is a server like that, that disallows all PVP everywhere unless agreed to by both parties or in a small number of FFA systems. Here are its PCU stats.

Ooer thread is still going? lol at most of the responces

You see this is what EvE

A small vocal majority on the forums leading the game while the rest of us suffer because your to stupid to know when to stop.

I propose an idea and then what

4 pages of being trolled and called a fail? a prick? a child in his mothers basement? Lets war dec him for good against his account?

Because of what? Because i took all of the pvp whine threads and said to ccp, lets get rid of the carebears, the ones they hate so much for no reason other than they dont play the game how u like to play

why?

Because you force your style of game play and the reason u do it is this is the ONLY MMO where it can be done, its why u slate wow/gw2 because if you tried this crap in that game, ud be banned so fast u wouldnt know what happend.

If you dont want a pvp game full on, stop interfering with those who have no interest in pvp

Its pathetic, throw your toys out the pram

…and you have something statistics-like to back that up, presumably?

Quote:

We do. That's why we play EVE.
If people have no interest in PvP, maybe it was a bit suboptimal to choose to play a PvP-centric game.
