They banned it despite the fact that a quick bump will cost the AFK complex runner a good few hours of income in lost drones, since the bump will take them out of rep range, cancelling their reps and (since they're AFK) resulting in the drones all dying.

So it doesn't even take a Suicide Gank or Canflip to cost them money and disrupt their operations.

this is great outside the box thinking and imma let you finish, but the otomainen afk ishtars sat ~70km from their wardens

Well having a boat that allows u AFK mining is very important since mining is so damn boring. I turn on my mack on 1 acc and having roams on another. When the local is alive and i am not into roams i just jump in my hulk and tare apart that ice.

its pretty oke now, really like the mining changes. Tough macks will be so much easier to gank now and hulks less cos they have short cycles and ppl will have to check them more often.

Skiffs just say i dont care :DDD, awesome ships, we already managed to bait few ppl i lowsec with em :DDD

"melts" ice?? lol, you apparently are not a miner. First, the tank is not unkillable .. Second, it mines significantly less in yield per hour than it did pre-patch. Third, If it's not fun don't do it. Fourth, go ahead and leave your mack there all day; it will be full in about 30 minutes then sit doing nothing and probably be a pod in the station when you return.

  - remove the cloaked from local; free intel is the real problem, not  "afk" cloaking -

I believe the yield is almost identical to what it was prepatch.

Macks are perfect for mining Ice. Just park it in an ice field. Target two ice chunks. Walk away for an hour. Profit. Wash, rinse, repeat. EVE the game you don't play - it plays itself!
