Hi guys,

i am thinking about entering faction war, but somehow i lack a few information beforehand and it seems pretty hard to gather them...

firstly, i'd like to know roughly how many people are on either side - i would like to join amarr, but if amarr is at the absolute bottom of things, can i even make some money with my lp? a lot of people say amarr never have high tier - i would like to make my living off FW...

secondly, is there some way to see which corp works for which faction? im not that bad in english but i play in the german tz, so id like to have a corp i can easily communicate with and with a lot of people on at these times ;)

maybe a few guys of you can tell me a bit about fw, but please without the love-glasses before your eyes ;) who is "winning" most times, who is **** because of ... who lacks numbers most and stuff?! i think im not the only one that would like to hear more about it!

thank you

You can look at if a corps in a militia by looking at their info.

Never rely on FW for ISK. Just treat any income as a bonus on top of your regular income.
If you do that - won't matter who you join as it won't change your income.

No one knows the real pilot numbers - but at least 3/4 of all militias are inactive accounts or spy alts.

As for who is winning - well there is only one answer to that.
CALDARI ARE ALWAYS WINNING & to answer the next part it's the Gallente who are **** because of ...

Are the Love Glasses available in the NEX store?

The faction that can field the largest horde of low sp gunless frig pilots to farm plexes is the one that will dominate FW. Today that is Minmatar and Amarr never made it to T5 despite trying hard for two months. We did manage T4 for a couple of hours this sunday though. Now the minmatards are taking back space in record time. They are already at about 2/3 to T5 in less than 2 days.

So if you are low sp and like to fly gunless ships and win the war minmatar is definitively the faction for you. You will feel right at home and you will become rich too. This situation will persist until CCP decide that they need to fix game mechanics but since these mechanics generate so much drama I don't expect it to be high priority. Maybe we will se something during winter.

There are a lot of small gang PvP too. Ff you go Amarr you will have less LP/ISK opportunities and will be locked out of most stations and mission agents in lowsec most of the time but it can be lots of fun flying T1 thrashers and slashers.

My corp has a strong US presence but is weaker during EU tz. Expect a lot of late nights if you want to be in the big fleets. I don't know much about the other corps.
