If your in a FRIGATE and being popped by a BC size target on the undock of a station then you really should go play WOW. CCP gives you 10 seconds of invul to locking when you undock, if you can't get a FRIGATE in warp within 10 seconds of undocking you might be the dumbest person in EVE.

Good try, and I applaud the effort, but...

You don't actually know how undock mechanics work.

First, you get 30s of Invulnerability.
Second, the 10s session change timer is just the time you have to wait before redocking.
Third, trying to enter warp ends the invulnerability (as do most other actions).
Fourth, Ctrl-Space or Spamming the Dock button don't affect the invulnerability timer.

So it is kind of possible to lock and pop a frigate (with a bad align time or who doesn't reduce speed before aligning somewhere else) before they warp off. It is also trivial (as the frigate pilot) to avoid that death, either by redocking or using previously set up insta-undock bookmarks.

And your effort to tell me i'm wrong is wasted because the point of my post was to point out that there is no ******* reason for a frig to die on an undock to a BC sized target if he has any idea what he is doing because he warped to his 200+km warp point straight off the undock as soon as his screen loaded.

According to my observations, carebears tend to shoot off about game mechanics before learning about them. Kind of like when they talk about the EULA. Blink

I think talk like that is technically griefing. I've taken the liberty of petitioning you 18 times in a row, that way you get banned faster. I filed it under every category so they can't miss it. I haven't read the EULA so I just wrote he plays the game in opposition to the way I play the game.

Enjoy your incoming perma-ban.

Sadly there are people who would say things like this and not be sarcastic. Lol

I hear insta undocks are hard. Also might suggest not burning straight at a sniper ship. Any inty pilot who can even manage to half ass keep their transversal up can catch and kill sniper tier 3s all day long.

Are you ... living in 319 station by the way?

Every time I see the words "319 station" I think of that awful S2N recruitment ad.

T3s also have also created a new kind of risk averse PVPer who is interested only in blapping frigs and runs from anything that he can't alpha. You see them roaming through low and null blapping frigates but running from anything bigger.

You do realize that is exactly the same reason why our own RL historical battlecruiser were designed and intented for
so i tend to agree with the rest , working as intended

I do not agree with what you are saying , but i will defend to the death your right to say it...... Voltaire

I give this one a 8/10

  • apart of the fact that he is clearly trolling (like most of his posts)
  • he just needs to post once every three pages or so to keep this thread going
  • he hits a nerf....obviously many people had moments with tier3 BCs

All the tears, although fluid, managed to be dogpiled ten pages high, not saying that there is still some potential in the thread.

Downside:
Obvious troll is obvious.

No kidding? I *totally* did not think of that! ....because trading him my well-fit PVP blasterthron for a throwaway tornado sounds like a great idea...Idiot.

I acknowledge I screwed up, inasmuch as I didn't know there *were* ships that could do 10kehp one-strike alphas; how the hell would I have? I'm a f'n miner. ...but now I do. So don't worry; you know what mistake I didn't make? "Flying what I couldn't afford to lose." ...so I'll chalk my little ganking event up as a slightly painful learning experience. Now I fly cheap, crappy ships, or cloaked, and leave the cargo hauling to professionals and/or idiots, as nature intended.

Come to think of it, maybe I will go play WoW. Some of you are embarrassing to hold a conversation with.
Sure, you can have my stuff... Bring an indy. Big smile

As someone who does a lot of hauling. You picked the wrong ship and/or tactics for the job.

Step Four: You will fail eventually no matter how good you think you are. We all make mistakes. I got a Prowler caught in a bubble because I was stupid and warped to 0 in Nul. Get over it. Grab your ****, fit a new ship. Do it again and don't **** it up twice.

Only advice on here worth the electricity to read it....

1. Scan him down then warp to him in a SEBOed noobfrig. Lock the Nado to deny him access, then point and kill his Pod. (In other words, why in the world did you take a Blasterthron to fight a Pod/Nado?)

2. EVE is all about information. To be good at any job in EVE, you have to be familiar with the abilities and tactics of everyone else's job that can possibly affect you.
