i've been testing the new camera angle and i'm coming out with things that look promising. Please, i would like to know some opinions on this test shot:

Test shot 1

Face expression and make up are placeholders, i am interested on wether the body pose and the framing work.

Ok, let's see... first impulse: I like it! Even though I like your current potrait better, if you insist on choosing a wider angle, you are already on the right track... maybe lower the head alittle... that's all I can think off at the moment.

Shalua's thumbnail looks better than the closeup. As in closeup, the avatar makes one wonder what Shalua is about to say.
I just don't like cliffhangers.. 9/10 nonetheless :)

@DremDorun Very nice. The use of the face tattoo, freckles, and a touch of aging come together to good effect. The lighting caps everything off well. 9/10

Well, it seems like you keep going all over the place with your avatar. First it gets better, then a whole lot worse, and back and forth. My main thing is it's too far from the camera to give off any personality besides, "hey, I gots boobs". The lighting doesn't match the background, and your outfit clashes with everything, including the hair, somehow....?

It's a pretty enough avatar, and I know you can do something good with it. But I feel that the last move was a big step in the wrong direction. Unless, of course, you don't care too much, (like me, lately :-P ). Soo... 6/10.

(I hope my new one's showing up...) last one was getting obnoxious.

I'm not too fond of the low lighting... bur the lower part of the face is cute... shades are kind of working, but you could do good without them. Like the lipstick, though.

@Med'an Medivh : On a first feeling I would say quite common, but it works perfectly. The expression especially is very well done, as it may be hard to make a character smile without feeling dumb.
