EvE == Everyone vs Everyone....

There are many, many forms of competition here....

The core of EvE is not ship vs ship violence, but economic competition.... You compete with market orders, you compete for resources, you compete in almost every aspect of this game.... There are very few actions you can partake in which don't adversely affect your neighbor... I've seen people mine roids out from one another, there's the blatantly obvious market competition (which is the cumulative product of all industry competition), and there is space dominion (which is the combat you refer too).

The reason highsec carebears get a bad name, is because they often want to partake ONLY in the economic side of the competition while be immune to the space domination game (ship pew pew). That's akin to playing civilization with all forms of aggression turned off!!!! Both economic and military influence should play a huge role, and you shouldn't be immune to one form just because you don't want too.


It "should?" Don't tell us how to enjoy the game WE paid for.

Ok, so remove noobships and all NPC orders.

Because that is the only thing that is not related to/circumvents the PvP aspect in the game.

I've been in almost every whine thread (usually for entertainment). They are started by either trolls or carebears. Once in a while it is a legitimate complaint, but rarely.

Whether they are a PvP player or a PvE player does not matter. If they whine rather than take the tools provided, they are a carebear.

Carebear =/= PvE HS player.
Carebear = a player who is so risk averse that they voice their wish that CCP fixes the game so that they can do whatever they wanted to do with no/little risk, usually making the rest of the game crap.

Yes, it should.... When you buy Civ, do you get all upset when the computer declares war on you?? Of course not, it's part of the game... just as much as ship combat is part of EvE!!!! You can't separate out the combat, as the destruction of ships is just as important to the economy as the building of ships, which you seem to be ignoring..

I'll teach what I know.... dictors are one of the more difficult ships to fly, always trying to balance their surviveability with their utility... If you're truly interested, shoot me an ingame mail....
