What would happen if Null Sec had no Local?

We'd certainly stop getting "people who can't possibly hurt me are in my system and I'm too much of a pansy to keep playing" threads.

For that alone it would be worth it.

Nope, because they'd get absolutely dickstomped by the people who fleet up in null, which is a completely different breed to those who would try to live in null.

Cyno's lit, bridge is up, but one pilot won't be jumping home.

The needs of the many out weight the needs of the few.

Any spelling, grammatical and punctuation errors are because frankly, I don't care!!

I think you'll find that the needs of the many goons for hamburgers etc severely outweigh the needs of the general populace by an order of magnitude, no matter how few they are.

Well I reckon there'd be less forum whining about "afk" cloakers, and more whining about how hard EVE is

Random quote from Family Guy last night...

"Wow an extra 5 cents for a tin of dolphin friendly tuna? Well I don't think I can stretch to that; you see America is going through a really hard time at the moment. That's why we're all so fat."

There'd certainly be more forum whining about how hard it is to actually gank people in nullsec.

Just make people not show up in local when coming through wormhole. Registration to local would happen when person warps to gate or station and lands on grid uncloaked.

This could spice things uP alot not only in null, but lowsec as well.

that is a horrible idea

When ever I see a Null secer post about local, I think of cockroaches running for cover under cupboards when the light is turned on.

"Oh no, a Neut in Local run for it"

I thought you left your previous corp because of a wardec? What?

Surely a wardec wouldn't affect you if you didn't live in hisec, so I don't know why you had to leave your previous corp. vOv

Too scared of wardecs?

For the effect it would have on my alliance members yes. For this character not really.

Sounds like it does affect that character, if it being there forces you to leave the corp.

Well when you put it that way a war dec aimed specifically at me would force me to leave yet another corp.

Thank you for the responses. Care to elaborate on why you think this would be the case?

yk

You know perfectly well why.

Here's a hint: It'd be an exasperation of why nullsec is as depopulated on a day to day basis as it is already, today.

Humor me. Lets see your reasoning since your proclaining that you have your finger on the pulse of the entire playerbase.

No doubt there are some disadvantages to Goons power, but since Goons only represent about 2%-3% of the subscription base, what the other 97% of the subscriber base would think is more interesting. If local were to go away, the entire goon nation rage-quit in response, but 10% more hi-seccers get to null, the null population would still double.

And quit spamming the thread. You've been at it for hours now.
