Iam looking for some guidance ..

1. I think Angels would be a good faction, profit wise ?

2. Do I need to join a Corps or Alliance to play out in 0.0 space ? ( I suppose it would be safer, if I could get in )

3. Should I should I try and talk a friend into coming - is it just that much quicker and safer with 2 ?

4. It seems most people talk about running missions in AF ? is that because they mostly stick to LvlL 1 and 2 missions ?

5. Other things Ive read; is just fly missions based in the system you are based in ie. dont travel ?

6. A tengu would seem a good all round ship to use - selection of DMG type and be able to fit in some covert gear for travel ?

7. What sort of LP can you hope to make, as per the different LvL missions ?

Thanks for reading.

It's been a long time since I missioned for pirate factions, but I'll tell you what I can.

1. Yes, Angels are very profitable to run missions for - in large part because of the LP store items. Guristas and Serpentis are also very good.

2. Need? No. Should? Yes. NPC null is usually a hotbed of ganks. You go out there solo in something that's not cov ops or pvp fit, and you're certain to get smoked in short order.

3. It'll make the missions faster, but probably won't keep you alive any longer.

4. AF can do 1's and 2's VERY quickly. They will be slow as shyte for 3's and don't even think about it for 4's.

5. The less travel you have to do in null, the better. So, sure, that's good advice.

6. Tengu would be great. Cov ops fit w/ interdiction nullifier subsystem. It will certainly help you avoid ganks more often, but it's not going to be the cure all. You'll still eventually get caught with the proverbial pants around your ankles.

7. Similar to LP income from non-pirate corp missions in null.

Free advice: Join a null corp and rat or run anoms in your sov space. Income will be similar, minus the LP.

1) As the above poster said, anything but Sansha. Sansha LP seems to be over farmed, the value isn't there. Serpentis hardly has any agents so that leaves you really with Angel or Gurista.

2) Not needed, but it would certainly help. I used to be out in Venal, and there were annoying neutrals who would mission in cloaky/nullified Tengu's, and would cloak as soon as probes were seen. We eventually gave up hunting them. You could try being like that (slow for missions) or find an alliance that will take you in. Although most alliances in NPC Null with access to those missions are PVP alliances, and won't want someone joining just to farm missions.

3) It's better to mission on your own.

4) Never heard of running missions in an AF in null. I'd just run L4's blitz them in a Tengu, don't run a mission that can't be done in less than 5-10 mins tops.

5) You can get away with traveling as long as you are nullified and cloaked.

6) Yes use a Tengu with a cloak/nullifier

7) L4 payout can be as low as 2,000, mid-range of 8,000 high-end of 15,000. You'll average around 10k LP per mission, which in a good market is roughly 30mil ISK. If you're blitzing missions, you can see the numbers begin to add up fast.

Blood raiders are great to run them for, and NPC delve is very quiet atm.

That, and the fact that cruors/ashimmus/bhaalgorns are always fetching top dollar.
