Faction vs T2 Torpedo range/ differences?!

Okay, im really confused. Need some help
Im playing about in eft ( this could be my problem) and im comparing the dps (using the graph) of my purifer bomber vs a torp fit phoon battleship. Now ive turned the artillery on the phoon off-line to compare the difference between to two ships torpedo performance, the purifier is running caldari navy mjolnir and the typhoon t2 jav.
The graph shows the purifier (faction) has a range of 60ish km and the typhoon (t2) 30ish... Shocked I dont get it, neither of the ships have range mods/ rigs fitted (just BCU's)
all skills in etf are 5.
Can anyone shed any light how the faction torps have double range on the t2 javelins?
Am I missing something?

Stealth bombers get a hefty bonus to torp velocity and flight time, thus increasing their effective range. Typhoon, in contrast, only gets a RoF bonus.

AH, i knew i was missing something xD
So about 30km for BS mounted torps is about right then?
