seems like the amount of ore in highsec belts has plummeted dramatically since 1.2 was released. some rocks less than a quarter cycle to deplete.

also bookmarks seem to be completely out of whack. i've been told by a corpmate his are over 100km out!

Belts are being mined out because of the popularity of the new mining ships.

Miners with a scanner will often leave rocks with less than a full cycle. So a belt that might look like it has a lot of rocks could be nearly empty.

I haven't noticed any problems with bookmarks. Perhaps all the rocks near the bookmarks have been mined out.

as i understood it new roids are not that big anyway, you had to leave them a while to fatten up or you could just mine the same belt everyday, could be wrong though Smile

This is correct, they take a few downtimes to get back to full roid belt.
