Orcas on lowsec gates....

Does the orca need a ship bay? We already have carriers for that. Simpler fix : remove orca ship bay (and corp hangar tbh)

have been running into pirats doing this laterly and tho luckly they always seems to have too many ships to trow into the orcas. last time they had 7 or 8 t3s and only 2 orcas. obvious solution is to point everything and then hotdrop everything, either with titan bridge or supercaps to kill any stragglers off before it can deagress and jump out :P killing 1-2 t3s tops(the unlucky few that doesnt get room)
tho thats pretty much the bruteforce way of doing it, and pretty annoying.

besides that you gotto bait them off orcas, seen vindicators mwd bumping the orca off the gate thus forcing it to jump before it got out of gate jump range, also pretty annoying and most t3s will simply start deagressing when you do that.

you cant really treathen the orcas to jump out too ealie unless you use titan bridge and jump in 50 drakes or something, since fighterbombers wont hit it well. nor does fighters do enough alpha to volly it.

last option which only work in some scenarios is baiting the t3 off the gates, but normally they are really really risk adverse and refuses to move off the orca.

obvious solution to this is to increase the orca sig radious so we can 1 volly it with supercaps fighterbombers.

You can scoop a ship thats locked by other ships but you cant board one from your pod when its being locked by other ships.

sry but that needs to be fix you should not bealbe to dock a ship in a orca under fire if they are lock and have been shoting. just like you cant dock for minute if you were on station.

Same as how to deal with station games. Orcas on HS gates is just an example of people figuring out how to run station games on a gate.

In this case, all you have to do is bait them out of the 2500m docking range of the Orca, then web them down.

Orca should pick up aggression/aggro as soon as he gets involved so it prevents him from just jumping through the gate.
