When did EVE players becomes such a bunch of entitled whiners?

It's very simple - You pay your money; you get to play EVE. If you like EVE, you can continue to play, if you don't, you can stop.

Your are not an investor, you are not a venture capitalist, you are not buying shares in EVE or CCP. You are paying them money so you can play the game.

I can't believe people have actually gotten to the point where they're crying because a game company whos product they happen to buy dares to develop another game.

Yea LoL. Don't include pay to win but provide means to unlock things through play or by paying. The only thing you can't earn from playing are character skins.

Doesnt really matter what you think about the game but it's a tried and tested model.

Edit- to all the would be business men in here, please tell us more about your extensive experience in fps video game marketing and business strategy. I'm sure ccp would love to hear your input on whatever they've missed.

Basically you're full **** (I mean have you even tried the beta?). CCP seem to know what they're doing. Give them a ******* break, they might even surprise you.

The console gamer is an entirely different animal and DUST is a completely different game. They won't be idling/chatting in trade servers showing off their rares, feeling pressure to buy keys. They'll download a free game when they're bored, play and then put down the controller and possibly never come back.


the only difference between a console player and a PC player is PC complains they have it so hard then claim they are superior, console players laugh that you are whining then play what they wanna play when they wanna play it.

if the game is good, people will play it and it will make money, if not they won't.
