Is it in the appropriate systems? If so, sounds like a legal kill to me Lol

I am curious as to why GS wants to lower prices in Amarr and Matar space. Because if this campaign has even moderate success that will be the result. Don't spose y'all are just going to tell us...

90% of of the time my posts are about something I actually find interesting and want to learn more about. Do not be alarmed.

Care to explain how this would lower prices in Amarr and Matar? Given that the targeted ice products can only be obtained in gallente and caldari space, Amarr and Matar would either be unaffected, or would have an increase in demand(as people switch to those types of towers and supercaps) which in turn would increase price.

Or do you just think all the miners are gonna move there to mine a product that doesn't exist there?

That's more of a side effect than anything. We just haven't spread our message of joy to the other regions just yet.

Prices are going up on ice products, its like fuel prices in real world. thats gonna affect prices on everything.... mostly t2 stuff.
so basicly you getting money from goons making pennies and having uber fun showing how uber you are shooting at afk ppl on belts. cudos to you.

About the only thing this thread has done is prove how ineffective Concord is at enforcing the security of high sec players. I remember CCP banning people for evading Concord. Love to see how this gets interpreted at the next GM/Dev meeting since it's clearly exploiting a Concord Enforcement capability and on the verge of being listed as "Intentional Exploitation".

If high sec space was supposed to be extremely safe in all aspects, then wouldn't it just be all 1.0 security? The concept of varying degrees of security space is that the lower you go, the more riskier it can get. EVE is closer to "real life consequences" than most MMOs in that Concord are more so enforcers than out right preventors. Crime still happens, there are just consequences that go with it.

The security is still enforced. For every gank, I still lose that ship and I lose security status at variable degrees.

But yes, clearly we are exploiting that the game allows for players to shoot one another. That exploit just never seems to get fixed.

Lol, not saying you're exploiting being able to pointlessly shoot some other nub. I'm saying what was in the past considered and enforced as banable seems to have lost its hold on every GM's minds. I stopped caring too much about what GM's say as of late since it seems to only hinge on who's alliance you're part of. (I should joined test back in the day...)

The thing that was and still is considered an exploit is to avoid CONCORD reprisal for your actions. It has never been considered an exploit to not give a damn about the reprisal. It has never been an exploit to suicide gank people, or to fly around Empire while -10 waving your spacedick at the people in local, or anything like that.

Ah and I remembered what I was aiming to put in my first post for this thread that I forgot XD.

(and I forgot again as I started typing this one...)

There was a point back in time in the late '09/'10 area that several GM's had made an open point that entering highsec with the explicit intention of dodging reprisal for the "Criminal Actions" of entering high sec with a below allowable security status had been a banable offense. And for anyone that enters high sec with a toon of insufficient security status you know that the faction forces still say they're going to enforce the safety of the players/populous in that area and start outright chasing you from the gate.

Now clearly they aren't as overpowered as concord and act as if they're using just basic ships with a couple extra hard points on them. So it's easy to slip past them but some folks had made a big rub of it at the time since you essentially trying to dodge a built in game mechanic designed for the safety of new/fresh toons since concord's reaction was only to a violent/moronic act.

In short: Dodging faction cops used to be considered dodging a game mechanic = exploitation back in the day.
now dodging faction cops =/= dodging concord in terms of exploitation.

I have been playing since '08 and I have been very active with regards to aggression mechanics across the entirety of my history in this game. At no point was I ever aware of anything like what you are describing. I suppose it's possible that I am not remembering something; of course, it is also possible that you are constructing and distorting history in such a way as to favorably support your agenda. It is also possible that I am doing the same. I know for a fact that I am not going to provide proof of my assertion. Would you care to provide some for yours? That would pretty conclusively win you this argument, because as I said I am not going to go through the effort of looking for external proof. You don't even need to find real proof, a convincing fake would probably work for most people.

I believe you'll find it works out the same way as the GM's of old and late that have been issuing warnings for "can baiting and flipping new players" which lacks any definition to the term new and has appeared multiple times in the past and present state of this game. Another similar issue not enforced by all GM's and constantly up for debate was the "No luring/tricking/baiting players in .7 and higher sec" (you'll have to check the old forums for more on the .7 and higher bs. I've got an old petition somewhere that I was told if I did it again I'd be banned.)
