If your looking for botting targets why not check fountain again there are loads of botty tengus from test alliance lurking about again no matter how many you kill they keep breeding....

  1. Identify mechanic as broken
  2. Tell people not to do that thing that is broken
  3. Work on a fix, while diligently banning people who are doing the thing that is broken


What's not to understand? Deploying drones and going AFK for the rest of the day is broken: you're abusing the constant-respawning nature of a complex in relatively safe space.

How would you fix it? Here are some ideas:


  • Have NPCs escalate: the longer you're in the complex, the harder they get. You sit there for two hours, they'll get strong enough to chew up and spit out a triage carrier. The catch with that one is, what about the poor suckers who need two hours to clear the complex out?
  • Have NPCs pay more attention to drones. What about the poor suckers who use drones, but aren't AFK farming the complex?
  • Stop spawning NPCs when someone's been in the same room for two hours. Blatantly obvious what will happen next: someone will camp the complex to deny others the ability to complete it.
  • Move the complex elsewhere. How do you despawn a complex that isn't completed, and still has someone in it, without breaking that complex for people who are actively playing but still take a long time to complete the complex?
  • Require targets to be locked before drones can attack them (will break any instance where players are deploying drones to assist/guard a fleet member)


So feel free to add some further ideas. Solving these problems is not easy.

Naw I'm talking about the mall cop attitude. Surely CCP can deal with TOS/EULA violators individually and not have to issue blanket statements to everyone about certain activities and what will happen to "offenders". I for one had no idea the "problem" even existed, and I don't see why I should know about it. That CCP has a hard time keeping it's "house in order" and that the game has serious flaws is quite evident, and I don't need to be reminded.

Since when is say "if you cheat I will ban you" considered a threat, I thought that was a given when I clicked accept on the terms of service where it says the same ******* thing.
