EFT numbers for Ancilliary boosters, are they correct?

Simple question really, I'm getting some obscene numbers when doing tests but they don't really make sense. Like 1000+ DPS Omnitanks with a single X-Large ancilliary and no amplifier on a Raven. Almost seems it doesn't factor in reload times or something along the lines of that?

the numbers are correct, it seems - what is your exact fit and external effects applied to that Raven?

where it gets a bit odd is when you have 2 ASBs, it seems to calculate the second one as if it was a cap module - so if you have unstable cap your perma-tank amount isn't displayed, but once you achieve stable cap - it is...

On another computer now but something along the lines of:
Lows
4x BCU II's
1x CPU II
Mids
1x Afterburner II
2x Invuln II's
2x LSE II's
1x Ancillary X-Large
Highs
6x Arby Torp launchers
Rigs
2x EM
1x Therm

Mostly just playing around with it, seeing what could work. Intended as a cheapish PVE fit for when somebody else is primary tanking so you just need damage and an "Oh ****" button

Yeah, had to correct it twice over due to typos. Been awake tooooo long.

Though it is very nice to have buffer you should look into trading the 2 extenders for something more usefull like shield boost amplifier and perhaps a target painter?

Should also provide powergrid for some medium neuts or otherwise usefull utility modules in the remaining 2 hi-slots

Target painters yes, neutralizers no. It's supposed to be a fire support ship for PvE. If capacitor is an issue, or would be, then an ASB wouldn't be getting used so vampires are out too. That's of course ignoring that a raven probably shouldn't get to combat range of the ships most useful to vampire in the first place.

Garde II x3

The former fit is intended more to take out the battleships and battlecruisers early on while the second fit is intended more for long-range combat and combat against smaller ships.

On a side note if you drop the two dual light pulse lasers and downgrade something from T2 to T1 in the second fit you can squeeze in an MWD if you want one there the lasers are there mostly to pop off at frigates orbiting the tank ship. With just an afterburner it's more than a bit slow so running combat will be frequent, but that also interferes in using sentry drones so it's something of a catch 22. Squeezing the MWD in, probably by downgrading the DDA2 as well as removing the guns, will make the ship faster to get where it's going and set up shop (deploy drones) so it's more than likely worth the tradeoffs.

- yes the tanking numbers are silly, as it's a silly overpowered module
- no it doesn't take reloading into account
- it's not logical to fit on PVE ships due to cost of booster charges, its main use is PVP
