Constantly and continuously the illiteracy, over reaction and general whining of players who have been told again and again what they CCP is doing but continue to misunderstand is beginning to make me believe less and less in the player base and more and more in the Devs.

Naw I'm talking about the mall cop attitude. Surely CCP can deal with TOS/EULA violators individually and not have to issue blanket statements to everyone about certain activities and what will happen to "offenders". I for one had no idea the "problem" even existed, and I don't see why I should know about it. That CCP has a hard time keeping it's "house in order" and that the game has serious flaws is quite evident, and I don't need to be reminded.

I only issue blanket statements because I love dealing with these situations it's a giant POWER TRIP

It's because player 1 will read it and have 0 clue, then go to player 2.. hurr durr they're banning afk plexing, player 2 then tells 5 friends, who tells 5 friends, none read the original post or any of the previous 15 pages of explanations, mash reply and go batsht mental on the forums over it.

Since I do understand sarcasm I guess I can say something. Dude I realize you have a job to do. I happen to not like how you handled this particular aspect of it. It's not a biggie, neither to you nor to me. I just feel that EVE is a very, very niche product and most of us playing it are not juvenile. The brand new players will have no idea what you are talking about. Many older players - the ones not given to exploiting EVE, won't know/care what you are talking about. Yeah ok maybe it's a pain to send mail only to the people on your list who you suspect of doing this. That could be it. But I don't understand how making a "news item" of it helps the EVE Online brand. At all.

But hey, fortunately this is one of those places where I can talk to you, and you can talk to me. Maybe I'm full of crap and there are very well planned and thought out reasons for having publicized this exploit and then warned people off it. And you know very well you don't have to explain them to me. But there is a public forum, and I like to open my big mouth. So there :P

I appreciate CCP Sreegs, because I appreciate fair play.

Dumping a sentry boat into a static complex with the intention of exploiting the NPC AI AFK 23/7 is a borderline case, but just ask yourselves a honest question- is that how you would like all the other players play this MMO?
