How do I leave my room in the station?

So everytime I log into EVE, I start off in my station room but I can't go anywhere. I can walk around in the room itself and go out into this hallway where my ship is, but everytime I try to open the doors either nothing happens or I get some error saying station atmosphere has not decontaminated. What do I do? Help please Cry

You undock your ship. Please tell me you know how to do that.

No I know that but I only can see one room of the station. How can I see other players like in the videos?

Approach the door and activate it. It'll open up and you can wander around the station like a bewildered muskox.

What? Do you not have the option to open the door? When you're in its vicinity you should have the option to "open" and you'll load into the station environment.

There is no other Station interior, only the Room.

do not listen to them, of course you can leave

though if the door does not open, it might be that you are grounded. check your room for a note, usual you get grounded because you didn't clean your room (or did not pay your rent fee, but that only applies to corp so that wont be the issue here i guess). if that is the case there will be a note stating that.

just google "cleaning my station room in eve" to get a guide on how to do it
