Hi

I have been playing for a while now and feel that its time to start skilling for something big soon. I know it will take a whie to get there whit some other skills needing to be delth whit on the way.

I have been flying Frigattes-Battleships, some transport and Industrials.

Now to the question I know a Fraighter can dock but a Titan cant. When do i get to big to dock?

Is all the war ships under the Capital tab in auction to big or is there some i can dock?

Is there some where in the info i can see this info, that i just missed or is there a number in the size that is a station max?

Currently only Supper Carriers and Titans are too big to dock.

You do realize that Dreads/Carriers/Supers/Titans/Rorquals cannot use gates, right? The only way to get them in or out of a system is by jumping to a cyno lit by another player.

Traditional wisdom is to stay the hell away from capitals unless you know exactly why you need one.

So. Why do you need a dread, you say? P

Confirming that the ship I use to transport my dinner is too large to fit in a station.

Wormholes are cool, m'kay?

Hmm

well why do i need a Dread??? I tryed so many ships and now i would like to try a new one. Dont know for what or why.

I know that i cant use a Gate but might still be a problem, i need to think abut this for a while. Will still be a long time left before you guys see me in one tho and by then i might need it or not, if not i might not skill for it??

For now i mostly dream about the big ones and was realy fixated on the dockin issue now i know, thanks for the info.

You guys can still use this tread to tell me how smart i am to want a Capital, and how stupid i am to want a Capital.

If you do skill for it, you'll likely make a roaming gang very happy some day.

Seriously. Don't fly caps unless you have a better reason than "because I want to."

Can you hear them? They are calling to us. It is beautiful. http://thegreattichim.wordpress.com/

I must be doing something wrong than, cause that's the only reason I fly anything...

It would be good to get a general idea as to what you want to do with it though, and make sure the ship is capable of fulfilling your needs.

I never want a cap because I'll never have a reason.
Its nice having friends with cap skills to deal with that headache while I zip around in something smaller.

Being able to scoot around through the universe with all of your doctrine ships with you isn't good enough?

Many great things have been accomplished because someone said " because I want to" or "hey ya'll watch this" or "here hold my beer". Who are we to stand in the way of his moment of glory?

A dreadnaught is a nice goal. I think a Carrier is a much better choice though as it's way more versatile.
