Clearing cache doesn't, launcher settings don't stick and other abnormalities.

All of the sudden my Loki starting showing up a bright solid yellow like this: I tried changing ships, undocking, jumping gates etc, nothing worked.

Then I tried deleting all cache files but it didn't actually delete the cache since my all my settings remained (like window positions and sizes, overview settings etc) but now the loki is gone. In space it's invisible... not cloaked, but simply not there. Reset camera does nothing, look at does nothing, however the ship appears functional. I can warp, jump, burn, orbit etc.

Then I tried docking up to change ships again... I tried a hurricane - it's fine. I switched back to the loki but it shows up as the cane, even though the fitting screen confirms the Loki is the active ship.

That aside, I ticked "show launcher only if update is available", but the launcher will show up every single time I launch the game. DAFUC.

HALP.

I have a similar issue with my t3. Though it went straight for 'invisibulz forevars' yet it would function properly. However, my camera would so break each time I switch over to the ship, only to fix itself when I move to another vessel. I should note that, while the camera is broken, one can actually appreciate the ceiling textures in stations (and the fan in the caldari stations)

Back to the topic, when I just tried to clear my cache, eve closed down (as it should) but then I got an alert saying that it couldn't delete the cache because another instance of eve is running, which is untrue as I'm a single-box, single-instance kinda player. Now I can't even play the game because every time I try to load the game it tries to clear the cache as the game is loading (which it can't!).

Bottom Line, two things:

Firstly: cache clearing seems to be broken, though manually clearing may work (I'll try once this post is up)

Secondly: t3s, subsystem combination pending, may break graphics and eventually go incognito or just outright invisible.

Edit: nope, still bugged/cached out

Edit2: tried restarting my computer to see if the cache would clear. it didn't work

Manually deleting the cache did it for me. AKA delete the folder named EVE in %LOCALAPPDATA%\CCP\

I think I'm now well beyond that point, having deleted my install of eve and attempted to re-install several times.
