As it currently stands the PI has a hard limit imposed upon the amount of CPU and Power available for ANY level PI plant. However playing around with extracting and manufacturing I have noticed that the Extractor Head (400 CPU/2600 Power) also has a cost PER Extractor Unit (110 CPU/550 Power) and you can use 10 (TEN) of these Per Extractor Head up to the hard limit mentioned above. BUT these can be switched On/Off. <--- Important to note that its quite possible to max out your grid whilst actually Extracting but if you then switch Off these units and free up additional storage and/or processors from the spare CPU and Grid you have to process the basic level materials to switch back on the extractor heads you have to disassemble the added storage/processor units at a financial loss.

What IF they could be switched On/Off much the same as the Extractor Units attached to the Extractor Heads ? You would still have the hard cap CPU and POWER the same as now only there wouldn;t be the continual financial loss in an attempt to streamline your PI facility.

If the Storage or Processor was switched off the Link would still be active to keep the chain open but storage space or manufacturing would stop.

To further "clean up" the PI Modules would it be possible to "uninstall" a process from any of the Processors. ?
When you first plant a Processor its clean, non flashy, bright Yellow and shouts out.. NOT WORKING. After the very first process install its dim, flashy and only changes once there is input to a process. If you then Change the manufacturing chain its hard to see what you have reprogrammed and what hasn;t been changed. If there was a way of Uninstalling a recipe and reverting the unit back to "clean, bright Yellow and NOT WORKING" it would be a lot easier to sort out. (easy mode - switch it off reverts it back to new install without the price.. obviously)

+1 Building have breakers, you should be able to deactivate them at will.

One step further, have separate power for building VS extractors,

-or-

Include all extractor heads in the power for the extractor base, this way you can always add / remove heads when swapping from extraction to processing and not run out of power.
