It's going to take awhile for me to adjust to the idea of CCP making changes that actually improve the game experience. It's kinda a new concept amiright?
I like to think we've always been doing that, perhaps with varying degrees of success... I would submit that lately, since Crucible last year, we have been on a roll! Big smile

No. You will note that I said "perhaps with varying degrees of success..." and also that we did listen to the feedback and responded to it, even if players can (perhaps quite rightfully) claim that we were a bit late.

I agree the new market UI is pretty cool due to the categorization capability.

+1 to the OP's suggestion for a more compressed attribute info section.

Perhaps in the fitting section one could have a small picture of the applicable high, mid, or low fitting section to show the position on the ship fitting circle the particular module in question fits. Not the whole circle in the picture mind you, just the section in question with it's orientation shown in the picture (left (rigs), top (high slots), right (medium slots), bottom (low slots)). This may not be useful for players like me, but it could help out the noobies a bit.

I am also for compressing all the information like the op did so it takes up less space. Also, perhaps such sections could be more graphical in nature to make things more self-explanatory. Like with rigs calibration number put a small pic of what the calibration number looks like in the fitting screen.

But yeah, definitely compress the info a bit in a way that makes sense so we get more information in a smaller space.

Things are going good. One other idea is for multiple show info windows so you can compare mods side by side. Its always been a pain to try and look at the differences with what we have now.

First of all... you know you can open more than one show info window, right? (either hold down shift when you click info icon or do show info)
Second, did you know there is a compare tool?

Sadly you can only open the compare tool now with a shortcut (set in the ESC window) or through the "variations" tab in show info windows... but I really need to get that icon into the necom P

like i've said before, I'll take all credit for the "new" compare tool (even though it was added to the game before I started at CCP about 5 years ago)Smile

Evemon 's compare tool is easy mode compare. All possible data with highest and lowest values color coded. Efficient layout. I only use the in game tool if it's something I don't really care about and make all my purchasing decisions based off the more reliable 3rd party tools.

Also in game compare tool has been around for at least 4 years.

No, no you didnt, because we still have it. It still unintuitive and makes me click more, swear and generally get annoyed at it every time I use it.

Bring back the old one.
