NCdot kicked from OTEC. How will a war affect tech prices with the planned inferno 1.2 changes?

Eve news24 had a write up about some interesting events that have happened in the North today.

From the sounds of it NCdot has been kicked from OTEC (whatever the reasons may be, or who started it is not important) and now a battle of some degree (killboards are not loading atm) has happened between both parties.

It can be assumed that the planned changes to tech moons might have something to do with this, or maybe even the events relating to Delve, but regardless of the reasons it would seem that things are escalating in the North and with tech prices all ready being affected by the planned changes in 6 days what will a war between NCdot and CFC do to the all ready unstable market?

*edit*
I wanted to add that I personally have no info on this besides this blog post or any way to prove/disprove the info. I am just re-posting the link for those who are interested in the current events that may be affecting market prices.

It would bee funny if the RvB & Goons hi-sec war Vs. NC. caused this Evil

Although i highly doubt little hi-sec wars have much effect on 0.0

Anyone who thinks that goons wouldn't leave any cartel (or anyone else) hanging in the wind whenever they feel it would benefit them is an idiot.

I'll be breaking out the popcorn and enjoying the fireworks.

As for the economy... tech has been crashing, and the patch is coming up real soon. I'm not really sure, but I have a feeling that the tech in the north that's going to be getting blown up in this fight might not cause the kind of price chaos that it would have caused even a month ago.

It will be good to watch. :o

This is going to be am interesting respite in TECH prices... the percieved solution to the drone poo removal with changes in mining barges will probably also cause a drop in mineral prices. Both inevitably will creep back up in a month or so when the underlining supply issues are again realized.
Until then have fun & stock up Lol

236 ship kills in VG-QW1 in the last 24 hours. A big red circle at the top of the map.

That or because a NC. guy sneezed in local chat on a wednesday when a a Goon was passing in that system. Roll

Really, do you think that this war has anything to do with a guy that used the wrong ship ?

It's all about isks. Tec prices went down, so the monthly profit went down. Solution ? Go grab more tec moons so you can have the same profit amount, even if you have less margin.

Goon Top man: Who's handy ?
Goon grunt: a NC. guy sneezed when I was passing in local last wednesday.
Goon top man: Oh did he ? Thats enough for me

I know you're -A- and thus butthurt and want to think the worst of goons, DeadDuck, but Tobilth is correct. NCdot had been harboring and working with BL for awhile, things like engaging our fleets as they attempted to reach moons BL had attacked to defend them, but those things we let slide. When they dropped tracking dreads on one such fleet once again and then turned around and directly attacked the moon, though, that was the last straw.

Whether we would have attacked them even without a legitimate diplomatic excuse is academic and, frankly, irrelevant for the purposes of this discussion. Lol

Having a Casus Belli never hurts. Even if, strictly speaking, it isn't needed in such a situation.

In the cat-and-mouse game that is low sec, there is no shame in learning to be a better mouse.
