Where are the lvl 4 Blockade missions?

I've played Eve for years and I use mission running as my main income source usually. I've heard that the level 4 Blockade missions are possibly the best missions for income vs time spent for a level 4, even more so than Extravaganzas and the level 4 Worlds Collide with Serpentis. But I don't think I've ever been offered a Blockade mission from a level 4 agent, even ones which I have an effective rating over 9 with. I normally mission within Caldari space, so that I can have easy access to Jita, and I'm pretty sure that over the years I've ran over a thousand L4 missions.

How the hell do I get the level 4 Blockade missions? Are there specific agents that give them out? Do they just not show up from Caldari agents? I don't really want to switch to another region; my faction standings with the Caldari are high enough that I can use every single L4 Caldari locator agent, which definitely helps with PvP and I don't want to bugger that up.

Please advise,

I cannot speak for Caldari agents, but i've gotten it a "gazillion times" in Minmatar space. I only returned today though, from a 2 year long break from the game, so i cannot say if they have changed anything while i was gone.

eeg...the Minmatar don't like Caldari very much, if I really go for that I'll lose my locator agents. Not sure what to do...one thing I really want to do is break my current record for single bounty payout period from a hisec lvl 4. I've gotten a hair over 15 million from Worlds Collide with the Serpentis in a navy Scorp, but then I run out of ships to shoot and can't get higher before the bounty payout cycles.

With the amount of ewar in Blockades I'm not sure anyone would actually want a Guristas version. Serpentis is bad enough.

What about Amarrian space? They have positive status with the Caldari so if I run my status up with them I won't lose access to the Caldari locators. Anyone get L4 blockades from the Amarr?

Serpentis is a very usual event in Gallente space. The last few I had were out of Aunia and Dodixie.

I've gotten both Blood Raider in Essence (can't recall the system) and Sansha in Khanid (ditto).

Murini has a Kaalakiota agent that gives Blockades against Blood Raiders fairly regularly... neuts suck though. You have been warned.

Amarr Agents hand this out often, as stated the Ewar from the sansha slows this down a little, but the bounties are nice and there is a very small chance of a faction spawn.

I get The Blockade regularly in Gallente space - last few times in Sortet, but also Fricoure and Dodixie.

The lvl 4 agent in mani for amarr navy security division gives out the blockade mission. Just be careful of the elite cruisers who tracking disrupt you en masse if your ship is turret based. I do it in an abaddon and my range gets reduced from 50km to 3.75 lol. Just fit an afterburner and hug them, they need to drop pretty quick as there is a fair amount of dps from battleships and if you are more of a blitzer than a tanker you may have to warp out

I am running out of Venilen right now. There is a lvl 4 Caldari Navy Security agent. If it pops I can let you know. The system next door(kanoukka) has two lvl 3 agents that gave it out nearly daily. I would run them back to back in my Harbinger often.

I remember reading once that only low sec Caldari agents even have it in their mission pool. No way to confirm, just something I recall reading.

I've gotten it a couple times in the Citadel in the last 6 months or so, but much more frequently in Amarr space.

Definitely can't do the Gallente ones, that will easily royally bugger my standings with Caldari. Thanks though.

I use missle ships so that wouldn't really be much of an issue. Sounds like I've got to go hunting in Amarr a little...who knows, if I build up my standings enough I could get access to the Amarr locators as well. Could be useful for hisec wars :)

One further thing: As mentioned in my first post, I have heard that level 4 Blockades give a better income rate than pretty much any other mission. Is that true, compared to say Worlds Collide with the Serpentis or perhaps one of the Extravaganzas?

A good way I think to compare this would be to compare bounty payout cycle records, i.e. you get NPC bounty payouts every 20 minutes, so a big single payout means you were able to kill a lot of ships in the span of 20 minutes. If you can find the relevant information, for those of you who do regularly get level 4 Blockades could you please post your current payout records for them with the following information (note, this is for hisec solo only, not when in gangs and not while in lowsec/nullsec):

-The NPC race you went against
-The race of the agent that gave you the mission
-The ship you were in
-The grade of weapons and damage mods you had (i.e. tech 1, tech II, faction, plex)
-The biggest single bounty payout cycle you got

My current record is from Worlds Collide with the Serpentis room, at a bit over 15 million in one cycle using a navy Scorpion with tech II cruise missles/launchers, faction BCS and a faction painter.

With this info I can figure out if it's even worth all the hassle of moving regions.
