On thing I'm doing on regular basis is to check the overview module based on filtered systems and item types. I just want to know what stations I need to visit on my route to fill up my cargo. Currently I always need to go forth and back to the assets module, change the filter and again go to overview using the "source: filtered.." setting.
If you could just replace that source pulldown in the overview module with a list of filters like in the assets module that would make it much more convenient to use.
Also thanks for implementing the context menu summary of selected item! Smile

@Mr M
Issues added:
Merge Stockpiles
Shopping list (Multiple stockpiles)

@Haifisch Zahne
It's not very hard to test...
However, I still need time to do it.

EDIT:
The empty prices: issue added

@Shellac Brookdale
Please confirm I understand you correct:
You want to be able to load assets filter directly from the overview tool?
...if that is the case: Issue added.

Thank you all for your feedback and feature suggestions.
I apologies for the delayed reply.

Would it be possible to take into account open "want to buy", "want to sell" contracts in the assets and stockpiles?

For instance, if I have a WTB public or private contract for a particular module, it should count towards the buy order column in that stockpile.

@Scrapyard Bob
You're not the first to ask for contracts: issue
However, I did not plan on doing it anytime soon (AKA never).
It's a hard API to work with, as you need to do multiple requests, making me a sad panda...
I guess, I'll move it up in the work queue...

Thank you for your feature suggestion :)

Once again, sorry if this can already be done, but I'd like to be able to set the Options-->Price Data to be, say, Sell Minimum (or another option) for Prices *and* Buy Maximum (or another option) for Reprocessed. I believe this would better reflect whether an item should be reprocessed, at least where one wants to sell quickly and knows mineral prices will fetch near Maximum.

Setting Price Data to Maximum for both options is not a good choice as selling prices are often extremely biased, and setting both to Minimum reflects poorly on the value of the minerals from Reprocessing. I am weary of using Averages and Means for price data given the Extreme price points that can exist.

Also, I had previously requested seeing the difference between Price and Reprocessed. It would also be nice-- and probably better-- to see the % difference between the two. A hundred thousand ISK difference for some large meta 4 gun might be a small marginal difference, but with some cruddy mod that would be fantastic.

(I would actually like to see a general Mathematics editor, so one could input one's own equation for a column, but with the above and the recent Sell Lowest 5%, I am reasonably happy.)

Hi, just downloaded this, along with a version of Java you suggest here:

https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=1522386#post1522386

its Java 7u5, but when I click the jeveasstes.jar file I get an error message saying "a Java exception has occurred", any idea why this might be?

Cheers

Reprocessed Price: Issue added
New column: Reprocessed / Price Percent: Issue added

Mathematics editor:
It would be a major task, but, feel free to contribute the code needed, I would happily review it.
Also, you can export to CSV and import in any database and do everything you ask.
Blink

Thank you for your continued feedback and feature suggestions! Big smile

@Hongus Gwag
That is typical a sign that something is corrupted.

Suggestion 1:
1) Re-download jEveAssets
2) Unzip the zip file
3) Double click on jeveassets.jar

Suggestion 2:
1) Download the latest version of java link
2) Uninstall all version of java link
3) Install the new version of java

Suggestion 3:
If all of the above fails:
Read the readme.txt about how to submit a bug report (with the log file)

If you get it to work. I would like to hear back from you. So I know what you did to fix the problem.
So, others might benefit from it... :)

Thanks mate, I redownloaded and seemed to work fine this time. Not at all sure what the problem was the first time though.

@Hongus Gwag
Thank you for reporting back :)
You're not the first that had to re-download.
I have no clue why it fails sometimes, It's rare though.
Anyway, It's great you got it working! :)

soooo i'm getting a bit furious with this program.. I've uninstalled java re-installed java.. re-downloaded.. set my machine to DMZ disabled the fire wall.. and to no avail it tells me i need to be on the internet.. the guys on vent get a big giggle when i read that to them.. since you know i'm on the internet. only thing it won't do is fetch API it updates prices and all that just won't contact CCP.

@Talia Windheart
You already tried all my suggestions (good work there!), sadly without solving the problem... Sad

Next step is:
1) Send me the log file (see the readme.txt for instructions)
2) See if we reach CCP or not (include the result in the bug report email)
https://support.eveonline.com/api/Key/Log

I don't know if it's a bug or not - but, I'll try my best to solve the problem, promise!

Here is my wild guess. If jEveAssets is connecting to CCP via HTTPS, it might well be worth it to check that you have the appropriate certificate installed. Just my 0.02 ISK.

Thank you for providing support to the jEveAssets users Big smile
...I was not aware the client needed a certificate, anyway, if it helps that is great! :)

PC has to have the certificate installed. Usually this is done by Windows Update. If SSL connection is indeed the issue I have posted a guide in EVEMon forum that might help.

Just emailed this to download this evening, but can I ask if this will include assets that are in wormholes?

I have forwarded your suggestion - thank you! :)

@Barrak

-Planets/Customs offices (no API available)
-Contracts (will be included soon(tm))

Hah, you did read my mind and implement what I needed (the ability to filter "Surplus %" column with greater than / less than).

Love jeveassests. Thanks for that!

Quick bug it seems in new version:

It seems that in 2.4.0 stockpiles are ignoring the System filter.

Ie. My stockpile no longer shows the number in the system chosen when creating the stockpile, but instead shows the number I have in all of eve.

This feature was working in 2.3.0, so the behavior is new.
