Hi. I was wondering if these setitngs are correct.

Attack if agression
Attack if @ war. <- of course
And leave unchecked, attack if other status is falling.

In high sec, if it is set to attack an enemy set by corp standings, will concord pop your pos?
Sorry to sound like a total nub, but I only have experience with nul pos configs.

Thanks in advance.

Dont have attack if agression on!

it is a bit misleading it will attack anyone with an agression timer, including corp members if you venture outside of the shields to shoot someone as well as anyone wanting to rep the pos or posmodules.

The proper way to defend your POS in high-security space is to build it as a dickstar. This is accomplished by buying 2 or 3 of shield hardeners of each type so that the resistances are relatively high. You fill the rest of your fitting capacity with an even number of ECM modules, and maybe a handful of medium pulse lasers. This fitting will require far more sustained effort and total pilots than pretty much anyone in high-security space is willing to deliver. To give you a sense of scale, it takes a 200-man battleship fleet with capital support about half an hour to take one of these things down in nullsec. Considering that most corps in high-security space don't even have 50 pilots, and that there are no capitals in high-security space, you're looking at at least four hours of sustained shooting. Show me the non-professional mercenary corporation that's willing to do that.

right here, at it for 19 hours now and still going strong. By the looks of it it'll go into reinforced within the next say 3 hours?Twisted
I'm still entertained, finally got to do some paper work I had to do Pirate

How big is your corp? How many of you are firing? I didn't say it's impossible to find one or two guys to take down and undefended starbase by sitting an Armageddon outside of it and going AFK. I said that it's difficult to find a group of people willing to be attentive and at their computers for several hours to cycle their guns and target the dickstar every few minutes due to jamming and/or neutralizers.

All (3) options are there, but the only one that makes sense to use in hi-sec is "attack at war".

The "sec status is dropping" option is taken care of by CONCORD and the "aggression" setting causes problems if people try to rep the modules / tower (or get flagged by CCP's broken code as GCC).

ECM won't stop an attack, it won't drive off determined attackers, and it won't save the tower. At most, it gives you time to react to either get a fleet together, hire mercenaries, or unanchor and evacuate your arrays (corp hangar, labs, etc.).

For a large tower, you need to be thinking about having 100-140 defensive modules anchored - 60-90 ECM along with a mix of small/medium guns, webs, tackle, maybe a few sensor damps, and 9 or 13 shield hardeners that can be put online as a last ditch effort to buy time. Medium towers should generally be taken down completely if it's a serious attack, and small towers aren't worth leaving up at all.
