To be honest, it's pretty rare for a major patch to go through perfectly on the first try. There's always going to be some rebooting. Can anyone remember the last time there wasn't?

/me logs onto WoT

1 reboot ever since a patch was put out...

Game supports more people than eve and the whole "1 shard" thing is pointless eve has way more than one server... and once everyone piles onto one it lags to **** and used to crash out... so I am sure i will hear that dumb **** but lol... on the back end the ONLY difference is server load... nothing more.

Ya why test **** if it is broken anyways?

Comparing a mmo to a mmo = no? lawl... ah noobs who think eve is epic or something.

WoT is an MMO?Cool

I logged into WOT the other day and got 8 kills in a match, more than once.
It's effect on you... zero.

Your comparison is incorrect, and irrelevant.

I honestly feel bad that this was my first thought as well. Or at the very least some silly tinfoil about there being one.

Same. I mean how can TEST TEST things that needs to be TESTED if there's no TEST server to TEST properly on. Someone should TEST things.

It's also a Singularity.

I have a radical idea...

...Why not just play WoT instead?

I do that pretty often. Especially on broad strokes. We just get bogged down in details.

Programs usually work fine until you introduce users. Users are dumb, they break programs. The dumbness of users has no limits. There's no way to know how a user is going to break a program until is broken. Therefore, after something is release to users, expect patches to follow. It is inevitable.

Translated: There is only so much time to test a number of possible outcomes so sometimes things aren't noticed till the code goes live.
