Piece of advice my friend, generally it's down to the one asking for the money to prove their credibility rather than the other way around.

I hereby confirm that I will not steal from me.

However, unless you prove the same, I will not offer an investment or a loan. What is the collateral? Who will be holding it? Is it 100%? 80%? 20%? What is my return interest rate? Why should I trust you to not run off with 12b of investor moneys and leave us with garbage in return?

Clearly he's missing some details, but trust needs to go both ways.

It is not uncommon for collateralised bonds to provide over 100% collateral, especially if the collateral provided has a volatile market value. In those situations the person putting up the collateral needs to trust that whoever holds it does not run off with it.

Well true, but it is generally considered polite to introduce yourself, with all the relevant details, before demanding to know who everyone else is, no?

Agreed. And not wanting to disclose the details on the forum where a wider audience might criticize the collateral and loan terms is also a bit suspicious.

As the title says I would like to explore getting a 12 billion isk loan, with collateral.

If interested, reply to this topic with relevant credibility and I will contact you via eve mail or convo.

ATM I am quite short on cash on hand but I certainly have 12B for this, plus I am collateral holder by profession so you could get 2 birds with one stone. You'd not even have to pay a collateral holding fee in this situation.

But, I'd like to know the duration, what is the collateral at hand, if it's at Jita and most of all the interest rate.
Because if it woes I'll just go ahead with my current other trading.

I have noticed the loans with collateral pay super low interest.

Due to the rapid success of my isk doubling business (the only honest one I know of), I am considering offering a high roller doubling game. For this, I would want to further increase my asset base to ensure I can ride out any temporary drawdowns.

I may be willing to solicit loans and/or a small group of investors on a non-collateralized basis, but at higher rates.

What would be a fair rate? I was thinking between 25-100% a month for lendors or investors who contribute 5-10 billion or more.

With my current game, I am averaging about 1-2 billion a day net profit (winners minus the idiots who don't read). I have found higher balances do not entirely equate to more intelligence, so I think a game with a 500m to 1 billion isk initial minimum could work very well.

If you send me isk unsolicited , please send a followup email that it is intended for investment so I do not confuse you with a doubling player.

Is this a fair range of a rate for such a venture? I can also provide references upon request.

Thanks

See Bio for isk doubling rules. If you didn't read bio, chances are you funded those who did.

Collateral information has been sent to all interested parties via EVE mail.

I will not be monitoring this thread henceforth, please mail me in-game if you are interested in offering loan services.

First of all I apologize if my collateral post for some reason seems not appreciative of the OP efforts, which are definitely there.

He does provide some shiny stuff, I hope some other Holder will take it into consideration. I just don't have the time available to commit into eventually liquidating those things.
