Site respawn issues after Inferno 1.2

I'm working on a code base that is 5-6 years old, and most of the work i do is tested by 1 or 2 other people. Still i constantly break stuff, which show up months after it's been implemented, because sometimes even minor changes have unexpected effects.

I don't really do much except exploration, so i'm not exactly happen with the sites being broken, but i'm pretty sure they did not break it on purpose.

Cut them some slack, it probably would have been possible to catch this bug in testing, but they are only human after all.

I'm a relatively respectable citizen. Multiple felon perhaps, but certainly not dangerous.

Agreed, if the incursion community (of which I'm a small part) had actually tried even a few sites on Sisi, this probably would've been caught.

As of 2 days ago, this bug was active on SiSi, and affecting wormhole spawns. I sent in a bug report nearly 2 weeks ago and CCP confirmed it as a new bug. A few days ago, I posted in the Inferno 1.2 deployment thread (https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=1742140#post1742140) that the bug was still active. CCP responded to a number of other posts in that thread, but unfortunately, not mine :(

hint: some things don't show up on test servers in MMOs due to scale.

Tedium and difficulty are not the same thing, if you don't realize this then STFU about game design.

seems to apply to cosmic signatures as well, systems that are usually chocabloc-full of them are empty of them by now.

It Happens, and Im sure its a Huge Code base. However, the SQA folks should be doing regression testing.

Just confirming that having issues with null sec anoms respawning.

Cleared them all with Military 5 and now awaiting respawns lol

Reimbursement for what? If you don't have sites to shoot, go to low sec. I hear there are a lot of FW pilots floating around with nothing to shoot at :)

And to be fair, it is entirely possible that the bug I reported is unrelated to this. But I would really have liked some feedback from CCP via the bug report or the Deployment thread post confirming that it was resolved. As of yesterday on SiSi, it was still broken.

EDIT: My bug report was specific to static WH spawns. I had no info on any other kind of signature or anomaly issues.

Site respawn in general can be affected by this issue. Investigations continue with highest priority.

It looks like our devs found the problem and the according fix! This fix is currently being tested.

Successful verification that the fix works properly. Preparing for deployment as soon as possible.[/quote]
