Well the mac with only 2 lasers can carry a good selection of crystals.

I suspect when the regular hulk users who have not read anything about the new cargo hold change on the hulk will start coming to the forums over the next few days once they realize they will no longer be able to carry a normal selection of mining crystals.

please remove the stacking penalty from ionic field projector rigs... Ugh I can understand the subcontroller rigs... but locking range hardly needed a nerf

I have to agree. I was expecting the new frigs to be in the game based on everything we've seen. Logged on today looking forward to using the Navitas. The login screen detailing the patch notes even states that there are frig changes and has a hyperlink to those changes. A little deceiving.

The help icon for the new tutorials will not go away. Every time I log on it's there on the side bar. I right click and remove but it'll be back next time I log in.

another workaround is to use the arrows on top twice.
first time the tree view is blended out (the divider is moved all to the left)
and second time it moves the divider to your original setting

Drastic frame with the new patch !
Before patch 20-30 frames during fleet 200+ now 5-10 lowering settings dosen't increase framerate.

I don't see any difference between the old mining skills of the Hulk and the new mining skills :

Old Hulk skills :

Mining Barge Skill Bonus:
3% better yield for Strip Miners per level.
7.5% bonus to all shield resistances per level

Exhumers Skill Bonus:
3% better yield for Strip Miners per level
3% reduction in Ice Harvester duration per level

New Hulk skills :

Mining Barge Skill Bonus:
3% better yield for Strip Miners per level.
5% bonus to all shield resistances per level

Exhumers Skill Bonus:
3% better yield for Strip Miners per level
4% reduction in Ice Harvester duration per level

But the bonus to all shield resistances is lower, and the Exapnded Cargohold II doesn't affect the ore hold.

PS : I don't mine ice, so the reduction in Ice Harvester duration doesn't serve me.

From now on when you are doing the level 3 mining mission you will need a support fleet, so find some players to help you mine that out, you will need a orca to provide boosts and someone to do hauling and fresh crystal deliveries.

Please check whats up with the malpais region.
it looks like all systems here have huge lag or at a huge time dillation. even chatting in local is slow as hell.

Opening you inventory takes 30 seconds, opening fitting window 45 ....

Also it took me 3 minutes to log in my characters while the systems where loaded (being on the entering game thingy with a black screen on the background)

Not saying they should ever be solo... I run a small wing of these myself with Rorqual managing boosts and hauling.

Before you could store a full set of mining crystals and spares on board and still have enough space for a full cycle of ore. Post CCP changes the job is more difficult when you need to micro manage the minuscule cargo hold when you are mining out 0.0 grav sites.

Before: Right click strip miner > load new crystal

Now:
Send alt to station or POS
locate required required crystals
warp to hulk
unload unnecessary crystals from hulk to jet can
swapping crystals from one ship to another in space via a jet can
load new cryatals
scoop unneeded crystals to the alts cargo hold
send the alt back to POS or station with crystals
unloading the hauler and heading back to move ore again.

If you run 2,3,4,5 hulks then the task is 2,4,8,16 times more time consuming and annoying

I never bother to read the blogs and visit the test server because CCP can change a ship 15 times between the first blog post and it hits tranquility. Their are dozens of people along the way that read these, visit the test server, and voice issues . i don't feel the need to do the legwork myself.

The text in chat , station names in space and in the ui is displaying either as solid blocks or dots, not all the text (except chat is all blocks ). Station name starts as text and ends as small dots.
