Ok i have a hulk with 2 expanded cargo rigs. Before patch cargo hold wa 10500m3.
Now after patch cargo is 350m3 and ore hold is 8500m3.
Am i correct in assuming the rigs dont work now ?

Oh cool this means we all get to petition ccp for rembursement for the rigs as they made them useless lol

Hope they get flooded with petitions tbh.

Bug report.
Sounds like a glitch.
The rigs should still affect your cargo hold.
They may not, however, affect the ore hold.

Not a forum alt.

Cargo hold should be 595.1 with two t1 rigs. that is room for more crystals!

We just double checked this and the rigs still affect your cargo space (just not your ore hold) and this is working as it was intended. If your rigs are not affecting your cargo hold please try and relog or clear your cache.

In regards to reimbursing these rigs; we have a strict policy of not reimbursing for any changes made to ships, modules, etc. Change is simply part of the game. We did not reimburse when we nerfed nano setups, nerfed supercarriers, nerfed titans, changed POS fuel mechanics, etc. In the same way we will not be reimbursing or removing rigs on mining barges. This is a blanket policy and filing a petition will not change this in any way; all reimbursement requests tied to this change will be denied.

As these plans have been quite public for months with multiple dev blogs, multiple high-profile forum threads, and were available on SiSi for quite some time, if you're surprised by this it's because you don't pay enough attention to what goes on around you.

We obviously do not reimburse for buffs. Although any buff is a nerf to something else and vice versa. So maybe I should have used the word 're-balance'.

And you can use a can for even more!

Less of a troll: If you are taking your hulk to a mining op many jumps away and need to haul as many crystals as possible:

Fit cargo expanders in the lows.
Use small or medium cans full of crystals, and remember to bring your replacement modules for the lows.
When you get to the system, refit for tank or yield as you prefer
Give the extra crystals to whoever is doing the ore hauling. If that is an orca in the belt, all of the refit stuff is easy, just use the orca.

Tedium and difficulty are not the same thing, if you don't realize this then STFU about game design.

Alternatively, GSC (or other variant) anchored in the belt works too.

Haven't GMs removed rigs on request in similar circumstances in the past?

For example.
