So if EVE actually became less safe, more hardcore, more difficult...

I'm sure the qualifier can be "balanced" away, given enough buffs.

Making EvE harder (i'd love that to happen!) would probably half the playerbase within a week
and it'd take quite a while until more and more people would join in again.

But ... a big but ! ... it would definitely happen that more people joined,
because more and more people would get sick and tired of all these no-achievement-games out there...

Solstice your a moron if you really belive that.

I seriously cannot believe I've just read all of that,
If it wasn't for uberleet people in eve
none of the newbies would make it in eve
personally I love flying to hi sec from null
but the real thrill comes from flying close to hubs and such where you don't know what's going to happen
and really it doesnt take a leet player to fit a gank ship and pop some noob ships is it.

How come patch day brings wine?

I for one wouldn't mind seeing Concord gone as I personally feel that they do NOT fit in - but are obviously a forced necessity today. Local police enforcement should stay and be tied to security status. But be revamped. As for all the crime-related stuff, EVE would be ideal if players themselves could deal with criminals and stuff.

A free(er) universe for everyone!

Crimewatch 2.0 perhaps...

I'm part of a dieing breed of gamers that play ever game at least at hard right from the start.

So maybe you're right.

And for CONCORD being gone ... that's no use.

We need CONCORD, because most players simply don't cut it.
Won't cut it. Never will cut it.
