What you want to loot is the 1.5 billion Draclira's Modified Large Armor Repairer. You'll find it inside the wreck of the mission runner after you kill said runner.

Now this is more like it.

The thing is are you referring to lowsec mission runners or the high sec ones?

If you mean high sec surely someone who has just spent 1 bill on their mission running ship wont fire upon me when I loot their cans (enabling me to commit murder without Concords interference ).

On my main as a highsec carebear mission runner will never fire upon a ninja in a mission as I know that thats what he/she could be banking on.

Use an hyperion instead.
It's still expensive, but the hull is bigger and thus you get a bit more smartbomb range. :D
(yes, the AoE counts from hull, not from centerpoint)

And ... being -10 in highsec is great.
No need to worry.
I'm having the most fun i've had since i started playing ! :D

How hard is high sec as a -10? I've tried ninja looting, and am thinking of just doing straight-up piracy.

Whatever you do; don't forget to pack the cargo with limes to fend off space~scurvy.

Join RvB. It's not really piracy, but you will have more fun than you've ever had doing anything else in Eve I guarantee. Cheap as hell (combat is mostly in frigs and cruisers) and you can get 30 kills a night easily.

Quite disappointed all the suggestions here were from bottom feeder pvp types, picking on mission runners or noob corps and other boring crap like that. Good luck getting more than a few targets a night .

You said you've been a carebear for a while and want to pvp, - Try some proper pvp with targets that actually shoot back, not this semi-griefing crap where you're gonna spend whole nights without a kill when you could be getting two dozen in RvB or with some decent pirate corp.

Could always also try some soloing, watch these videos and listen to this podcast, they rock and you'll learn so much even if youend up doing solo.

Ignore the lame stuff and get out there and shoot people that shoot back. It's 100 times more interesting, challenging and satisfying.

Camp lowsec planets near hisec instead of gates to catch ratters, using d-scan only.

No-one will know you are actively searching for them, apart from you appearing in local. Move off the planets POCO, it's visitors are not your primary target but fun to pew pew if they happen to visit at that exact time. Patient cloakers can even opt to attack these targets after they made their pickup, to nab a full week of lvl3 PI resources if you are lucky. Infiltrate their corp before doing these kind of hits. Not what I'm getting at though.

Start scanning the belts near that planet at 30 degrees or so. Once you have a hit, narrow it down to 5. You now know what belt he's ratting. Drop on the target belt in between 0 and your optimal range for a decent slugmatch. Not having a -10 sec stat will make this method easier, as solo ratters will more often decide to stay in the system. Bonus points if you can just scram/web the target and let the rat finish him off while you run your active tanks.

The pro's of this method are that you can rat yourself when local is empty, you pick the fights, and you won't need to worry about sentry guns right away.

If only mines were still in the game. Used to exit station and plop down a bunch of mines on the autopilot route out of it. People couldn't help running into them and popping.

This sounds interesting. I think I prefer the solo/dual roam pvp option, never tried RvB but I am not sure about that to be honest. I am about a week away from a Pilgrim on this character and my other Alt can use Stealth Bombers.

It might be worth making a cloak ganky dual box setup for low/null sec roaming.

Alternatively you could do what my main does, which is hunt down the mains of forum alts who post about wanting to gank mission bears in hi sec whilst thinking their marauders are safe...

Then when everyone is hugging your ship in pods, let the smart bombs go and tears flow.

Thats got to be the most fun.

Setup a gatecamp using only procurers. Not likely to be a success but it would be fun to try.
