Market BPO's

When's the nest time all the BPO's are gonna be refreshed on the market? The prices I'm seeing for some clearly aren't the original market price. Over time I'm sure they've been slowly destroyed so it only makes sense to stick some more in so the prices don't run away.

If brute force isn't working, you're just not using enough.

Are you sure you are looking in the right place for the BPO you are after?

The prices you are seeing are bpo's players have listed in areas they are not available. For example you're not going to find Amarr related BPO's in Minmatar space unless a player has them listed, generally at a descent profit for themselves.

Generally when a player has the option of paying a 5% - 10% markup on a BPO compared to setting out for a 50 jump trip they just give in any pay the extra cost.

NPC BPO's never run out, so you're going to have to find the BPO you're looking for on eve-central.com for example, or give in and pay the players price.

When you buy from an NPC, the price will rise a little (up to +5%, iirc).

When no-one buys, the price will fall a little (up to -5%)

So the price can swing by up to 10%.

And the way to tell if it's an NPC order, is that the orders are 364 days (365? one of them) in length. player orders max out at 90 days.

Buying BPO's on the Market always yields a BPO with zero ME and Zero PE, thus people buy them to research on their own.

Different BPO's are in different regions stations etc etc, most people 95% would rather pay a 5% premium say, 5-50M ISK instead of spending half the day traveling 50-500 jump round trips (oops forgot one-gotta go back) here and there reading up where to get what.

Its really up to you, weather you want to get it or a set of BPO's yourself around the galaxy or buy one or all, in a trade hub.

But sometimes, if the difference is to high, say overpaying to much, then it might be worth your time to go get one or 20 from an NPC, Same goes for books.

if a book is 60M here and 20M there, then thats a no brainer, go get the 20M one.

Ah I see, so it's not available because I'm in the wrong race space. BPO's are ALWAYS available though? Cheers, looks like I'm travelling.

Take a look at eve-central, or other market data site. that should help identify a nearby station for you.
