I have trained Cybernetics to Lvl 4. Which implants should I be using on my Cruise CNR?

My slots at the moment have only the implants to help me skill faster.

TIA.

Generally speaking, you will get more out of EVE if you spend a little while analyzing what are you are doing and what you are trying to achieve, and take it from there.

Do you have hard time hitting small targets? Is you tank ok, but you need more dps? Is there life outside L4s? Etc.

You can experiment with implant effects in EFT or pyfa, even though many of those have effects that can't be seen directly on paper.

TBH I really haven't got a clue. I started playing Eve last Autumn, and have been training since then on and off. I have 15 million SPs and mostly PVE Lvl 4s.

I'm joining RvB to learn how to PVP this week, but as far as my wish with this post is just to do max missile damage possible when PVE in my CNR. Missile support skills are all Lvl 4/5 and raising. I have no problem with BS/BC, Cruisers take a little while and Frigs I usually kill with drones. My tank is insane, I spent a lot on my CNR fit and never have to warp out of any mission. Can perma-run my booster.

Struggling a little with the huge learning curve - understand so little of this game, and it's made more complex because there doesn't seem to be a 'right' answer Blink

Ok, for max dps the first implant set surely looks better. If you feel like you are overtanking, consider a target painter or web to improve applied damage as well.

I love the fact that there is no right answer, no "best ship" etc. It leaves room for players to experiment, evolve and discover better ways to do things.

Good luck in RvB!

The conventional wisdom is to max out damage. This helps your tank by taking out DPS. The expectation is that you start to use mid to high end modules. Standard fits include a CNI, but I prefer passive high end resistance modules. They cost less (way less) and save cap. Low end gist SBs can do the job there. Remember that you don’t need to be cap stable.

So, I would start with some 3% boosts for cap and shields and work up to 5% damage implants as my "toolbox" improved.

for a dedicated cnr clone I'd take the first list you posted. and if you want to be really pimp change them to the 6% versions maybe skimp on the velocity implant. nonessential for the cnr, although if you think you will fly a torp golem the 5% will be worth getting.

although the names changed a while back,

Thanks to you all for the really helpful replies. I am very grateful.

I joined RvB last night and went out for my first Fleet battle. I lost my Hookbill in less than 5 mins when I got trigger happy and went off chasing after 3 Blues. I have so much to learn!

Was great fun though! Big smile

Thanks again.
