DId they ever fix the Naglfar?

Last I heard it wasn't often used because of the higher training time and terrible slot layout.

Was this ever fixed? I would be seriously disappointed with this game if XL Artillery never got any decent use.

It's bonuses got moved over to pure projectile and it got an extra mid. It's still lacking in popularity.

The Naglfar is still half-okay, and very good for suicide attacks. The Phoenix is the undisputed worst dreadnought ever, completely unable to fight subcapitals.

You should really never fit long-range guns to dreadnoughts. Use supercaps instead; they do the job far better.

The Moros is the blap titan reborn, and has the highest raw damage at close range.

for a couple of month the naglfar was OK when they changed the split weapon bonus to a 7,5% to both proj rof and damage, but then they boosted short range dread weapons and someone at ccp decided a 7,5% was too much and they switched it again to 5% making the nag a mediocre dread again, also having to train 3 capital weapon systems to fly the things its a bit too much considering the doesnt offer anything special over the others dreads.

one of the ideas back in the days was to make the nag even more vertical adding another turret slot and get rid of the launchers but the art team said it was too much work for them.
