Hi,
On the missions which have tackling towers, what’s the best strategy?
Go for the tower first to free up movement, or go for the ships first?
I’m active shield tanking in a Thrasher and don’t have a free slot for a MWD.

Depends on how you are tanking and dealing damage.

If you are in a ship that can take the damage coming in while not moving, then ignore the towers.

If you are in a ship that relies on a certain level of speed tanking to survive, make the towers a high priority as you get within range of them, taking down ships until you do. Sometimes you will find that if you take down ships while burning to the sentry that the incoming damage will stabilize to a manageable point making the towers less of a concern.

...and be VERY wary of neuting towers if you rely on capacitor.

Take out the towers so you can dictate the fight with the ships.

While it is usually a good idea to take out those towers to increase your speed and maneuverabillty (?), in some missions those tackling towers may trigger additional enemies. You should be aware of this, though i'm not sure if this is already the case in Level 2 missions.
