The idea is simple:

A Salvager with 2 beams.
2.00 x Powergrid use.
1.35 x CPU use.
0.5 x Cycle time

Someone from my corp had trouble getting salvage from 54 mission wrecks before the downtime, and yelled out to us offering her salvage to whoever wanted to stop by before the DT. These kinds of situations can be avoided if someone gave the Salvager a much needed upgrade.

So, why do we not have this yet?

You and me, baby, ain't nothing but capsuleers, so let's do it like they do on the Science Fiction Channel.

Sounds like your corpie needs to practice their timing and not try to mission up to the last minute.

Salvagers are fine. Keep training. I run a 5/3 setup on my noctis with salvager II's and my bottleneck isn't the salvagers, its tractoring the wrecks in fast enough.

Actually, if halving the cycle time instead of upping the base salvage chance were what T2 Salvagers did, I would probably use them more often. Currently you really only get a perceptible difference from that extra chance on, what, sleeper BSes?

Why don't you just fit twice as many salvagers idgi
