is it possible to modify a pig so it has more then one stomach?

Just wondering if we will ever have kosher bacon...

it already has split hooves all it needs is to chew on its cud which means it needs two or more stomachs like a cow...

i for one would totally invest in this!

I think you can do it without genetics. Bariatric Surgery is pretty advanced now. It would be like a reverse Bariatric procedure, split the intake in 2 and put a 2nd stomach in there. You'll have more trouble with the treehugers tho.

I´d actually prefer them to be genetically engineered so that their organs (hearts specifically) are compatible to humans: "Have a heart for pigs, they might one day have one for you..."
