Stupid gate campers weed themselves out.


Example:
I was attacked by a Tristan while on the Jita -> Perimeter gate in my Badger.



It got one salvo off, and then was vaporized by the gate guns.

EDIT: I feel I should actually contribute to the thread for some reason. This change will only make more newbies think Lowsec is safe and feed the camper kill boards because the aforementioned pounce camps still work.

So the net was not made initially for our military? really? Because I'm positive that it was, followed by it's use by our academics and universities. As far as that Intel or Amd, wrong again? There is a place called silicon valley and it is here in the States last time I checked. No need to be a drama queen with the "EVERYTHING" comment, I gave two notable examples to someone who hates our exports and simply recommend they boycott their use.

Add to that, that joining a corp is horrible, "because then you can't do your own thing and have to play someone else's way". Never mind the fact that going at it solo in this game is a chore even in high-sec. So people put up with it because they've been told it's far worse to team up with others, which usually leads to burnout rather quickly. Same goes for low and null, "If you go there you'll die instantly and be podded and lose skill points". True, there are some NPC corp players that go solo and enjoy it. Unfortunately, they don't tell new people about the parts of the game they're missing out on or how much a chore it really is to go it solo. The problems with that approach are only magnified when entering into low and null.

I'm not saying it's impossible to go it solo but it sure is a pain in the ass. I'm just not sure why people complain about it and instead expect the game to be made more solo friendly. It's like everyone wants to achieve what the goons have but without all of the team effort, which makes zero sense to me.

Yes it was made for the US military but that beast has as much in common with today's internet as any of the advances before and after it.

You might as well say the internet comes from Charles Babbage as he invented the analytical engine.
But as the civilised parts of the world are concerned the internet was invented by Tim Berners-Lee.
