EFT shows the max missile range. I just use that.

I'll step up and admit that I am guilty of implementing this change that might affect calculator makers all over. Oops

Incidentally, I am a big fan of calculators, especially the EVE one and I regularly fight off people that want it to die and fix it when it needs some love. So I sincerely hope that it won't ruin the lives of calculator makers, I kind of like my life.


It's okay, CCP karkur. You gave us blue orders in the market. We'll love you forever for that. (Speaking of, I think I still owe you a pair of soiled pants for that. You ruined them. RUINED!)

That's mostly because those electronic mathematical devices are manufactured in countries where dog is regularly on the menu.

2) Right Click on module
3) Show info
4) Select Attributes Tab
5) Scroll down to stats
6) Open calculator
7) Copy index for Maximum flight time
8) Paste into calculator
9) Press multiply
10) Copy Flight Velocity
11) Paste into calculator
12) Press Enter

Technically, that is incorrect. Missiles do not quite fly their true calculated distance like that, requiring some acceleration time and getting on track, in addition to the fact that as the target moves, while not neccessarily getting any farther, it increases the potential distance the missiles have to travel, thus, if you have 85km range on your missiles, and are firing at a vagabond circling you at say, 75km, it's perfectly reasonable to expect your missiles not to travel far enough to even hit.
