Gravemetric Sites

Hi,

Just struggling a little on finding relevant information on these.

I'm very new to wormholes and the few corpies I have asked about these don't know much about them as none of them mine and the sites just get closed down fairly quickly.

Can anyone please explain how Sleepers work in these sites and how the sites may scale in the worm hole classes.

I live in a C5 and given the time it takes to mine these things, I'd almost certainly stay put in a C5.

Things I'd like to know:

1. Are there always sleepers?
2. When do they spawn?
3. Will the site de-spawn, other than 3-5 days, if certain actions are taken?
4. What sleepers appear?
5. Will it be the same sleepers in every site within a C5?

Of course, my questions are based on my extremely limited knowledge, therefore I'd imagine I might have asked the 'wrong' questions, so any information that you can offer other than what I have asked would be greatly appreciated.

Regards

1. not for the first 20 or so minutes or if they have been killed. There have been instances after an emergency reboot that sleepers have come back to a site I have cleared.

2. 15-30 minutes after warp was initiated for the first time to the site.

3. the site could despawn early if you mined all the ore P

4. depends on the site. The better the site the nastier.

5. All grav sites spawn the same sleepers regardless of WH type. You just get the "higher" end grav sites in higher level WHs

and all this is on some great sites in much more detail. Eve survival is a good start, however the sleeper spawns are not all right as they were increased for the higher end ladar sites.

Thanks for the reply. I'm not sure the information is actually available about what ships spawn on Survival as the link you gave me doesn't show Grav sites.

Though, it is entirely possible I'm looking at the wrong thing.

So are you saying that a Grav site in a C5 will get tougher ships than the lower classes?

Is there a way to actually know exactly what will spawn?

When scanning down a system I'll generally warp to all Lad and Grav sites to get the timer to start. Warp back 20 minutes later in a covert ops and see what is there - it won't take you longer to figure out what Sleepers spawn at what site.

Look 2/3rds of the way down the page under the sub heading 'Classless Cosmic Signatures':-

Thank you.

Completely missed the 'classless site' section before.

In theory a tanky Tengu should be able to clear the hardest one then.... even a Drake should manage it????

Have you tried this tool?

wormnav

IMO, a tool that every w-spacer should have in their bag-o-tricks.

Gravs are pretty weakly defended by sleepers and generally a drake works up to a Rarified Core Deposit. It's possible to solo in a well fit drake, but it's dicey and the battleship warp scrams.

PS- If you are trying to live solo in a C5 it's likely not going to work. You'll experience periods of a week or more without a grav site. You might get a few soloable ladars, but every thing else in a C5 isn't soloable.

Hi,

I do use Wormnav and Siggy and am slowly discovering the benefits of each tool.

Yesterday I realised that siggy has some symbols that can be clicked to show stats and carebear info etc and now, after your post, I realise that information on Grav sites is available too (on WN). Ironically I always use Wormnav to view PI options.

Cheers!

Is a good site to have handy for a WH. Shows you triggers and spawns. Not sure if it does much on the grav front though.
