Mine DPS with this setup in EFT is 338, "all level V" guy DPS is 405. Please give me access mask for sharing skills only so I can share mine and someone can advise me which skills I'm missing.

Another thing what burrows my mind is how to upgrade this setup? It says "perfect fpr starter" but I can't find out how to make it better by learning new skills and getting better equipment. Better launchers requires much more powergrid and I can't take 6 of them, and I have no idea if I can get any better modules - they're already pretty good.

Thanks in advance for answers!
Dmitry.

I think faction modules would be the next step, such as Caldari Navy Ballistic Control Units.

Most of it is just a gradual increase.

As you get more skills you can upgrade to an active tanked fit that is not cap stable (XL booster and cap booster).

Once you have that, you can change to rigor rigs to increase your applied DPS on ships smaller than battleships.

Once you have more money you buy some faction modules. CN Ballistic Controls are pricey but a significant damage increase. Possibly train for T2 cruise or buy CN launchers (again expensive, and some would argue unwise).

Once you have even more money, buy a CNR, and faction fit that.

The fit you posted above is a pretty safe and comfortable beginner friendly fit that can do L4's.... all the rest is getting more efficient at L4's by increasing applied damage (and DPS) and learning to manage a tank that you don't click and forget.

If your missile support skills aren't at 5, they're missing. If your cruise missile spec isn't at least 4, it's missing.

Replace BCSIIs with Caldari Navy BCS.
Throw out _all_ of those capacitor flux coils and never ever look at them again. If you must, fit PDSIIs instead.
Throw in a fourth CNBCS.
Throw out those rigs and replace them with rigor rigs (ideally: 2 rigor IIs and one flare I).
Get T2 launchers.
Get missile support implants.

Simply:
- change to faction Raven
- 4x faction BCU
- 3xrigors in rigs (without this it's stupid to fly on cruise missiles)
- buy rapid launch 5% implant...
- ... and cruise missiles 5% damage implant (if You will fly on it for long)

Thanks for answers!
First thing is what if I copy my character inf EFT and making missle support skills on 5 and cruise missle on 5 - it's not making such a big deal with DPS.
Second thing is what I'm not so familliar with abbreviations. Can you please post your reccomended setups in EFT format or link bttleclinic loadouts?

You might as well be flying a Drake.

Don't even think of upgrades until you get tech 2 cruise launchers. As Katalci said, you'd be better off with a Drake at that low a dps. Once you get the tech 2 launchers, go with this fit:

High:
6x Cruise Missile Launcher II, Fury Cruise Missile

Mid:
1x X-Large Shield Booster (meta 4, not the T2 variant)
1x Heavy Capacitor Booster I, Cap Booster 800
3x Mission Specific Hardeners
1x Target Painter

Low:
3x Ballistic Control System II
1x Damage Control II
1x CPU

Rigs:
3x Warhead Rigor Catalyst I

Drones:
a flight of lights and a flight of mediums (usually Hobgoblins and Hammerheads)

This build will give you around 530 dps (+drones) fully trained and enough tank for almost any level 4s (except perhaps last part in Enemies Abound and Dread Pirate Scarlet).

From this point on, you have three possible paths, each requiring an investment of about 400 million isk. You can buy a navy raven (CNR), a navy scorpion (SNI) or 4x caldari navy ballistic control system (CN BCU).

You will eventually get at least two of these. What they do is:

CNR: you're able to upgrade your dps by adding another cruise missile launcher. This makes four ballistic control systems an absolute must and you'll fit your ship into a full gank, low tank monster. Fully trained, expect around 1000 dps and an absolutely insane range.

SNI: going in the opposite direction from the CNR, you will get more tank and keep stock Raven's gank. More importantly, this ship gets more power grid and processing power, making fits far easier at low skills.

4x CN BCU: By replacing tech 2 variant, you'll be able to drop your cpu mod and maximize Raven's damage output (around 600 dps + drones). I'm sure you're looking at me like crazy, thinking "wtf, why would I invest that much money for mere 70 dps increase?" The truth is, you want these BCUs, because you'll use them in almost any pve missile ship you can think of. CNR? Yup. SNI? Yeah. Drake? Mhm. Tengu? You betcha. Golem? Do want. :)

In my opinion, picking the SNI first is the best of the three. As I said, fitting it is easy, meaning you won't outright require those CN BCUs. More importantly, it gains lots of defense, allowing a low skilled character to maximize his performance, whereas a proper CNR fit is very skill intensive.

You'll want the CNR with 4x CN BCUs if you'll go for minmax, but there's no need to rush, SNI performs admirably as it is, while you're getting used to level 4 missions. Meanwhile, take your time to maximize the missile support skills, so that when you do sit in a CNR, you'll get the most out of the dps monster.

Good luck and godspeed :)

One nice thing about the SNI; its easy to fly multiple missions without refitting. With all the mids you can fit a broad tank. If you are in a system with multiple agents you can take a bunch, say vs Angels, Guristas, Mercs and go clear all 3 missions with the same fit.

Hammerhead II x5

5% missile/cruise implants

800 dps just missiles, almost 1k with drones. Plenty of tank for gurista/serps, angels/sansha/bloods you can drop the target painter for more tank.

Basically, the idea behind setups like this is you only need the tank for the first few minutes till you have killed all of the BS and BC in the spawn, and this setup kills them very very fast. A dead npc does no damage, so there is no need for a 1k perma tank, you just need 1k for a few minutes.

The faction mods are basically to keep cpu use low, you can use a co-pro instead of the drone damage mod if needed.
