On an interesting note, competing for the Russian Federation there's a guy called "MOSIN Vasily", like the sniper guy from Enemy at the Gates. Shocked

Love the tennis games. The tsonga vs. raonic match was long but exciting., no retreat, no surrender! =) Could do without the lady olympians screaming after every hit. Sure, mind games can help but come on..... oh and the williams sisters scare me with how powerful a team they are.

wish I stayed with tennis back in the day=(

I kinda laughed at the whole badminton thing, ANY ADVANTAGE TO WIN! Good job ladies you've just dishonored yourselves in front of the world.

Isn't there an athlete who is like 8 months pregnant who's competing in the marksmanship competition? I'm curious to see how she does.

In the cat-and-mouse game that is low sec, there is no shame in learning to be a better mouse.

The US is in 1st, but just barely. We may be able to beat China this time...cross yer fingers.

Cracking night for TeamGB in the athletics but for me the most impressive feat so far was the win by the US swimmer Katie Ledecky, beating seasoned competitors at only 15 - watching that race was some impressive stuff.

Just an interesting note, Olympic gold medals are not really gold. They are gold-plated.
